I only Mastered Rifleman cause I'm going for Jedi [19 professions down]..

Its the flavour of the month profession at least on Bloodfin, but I have to say even using a Jawa Rifle...the mind consumption was just too much as a Rodian.

My mind was maxed at 900/500/550 and I was on Ryshcate, Fishnak and Iceblaster but it still wasn't enough...

Any fulltime Rodian Rifleusers out there?

Fulltimer here. Since day 1 of Live, I've been playing my rodian riflemen. I don't play everyday, but I play consistently. I am currently 2/1/3/2. My mind pool is currently 775/500/500.

Iread complaints about racial limitations in regards to ocupations, but my opinion is that this is a role-playing game and part of the fun is succeeding in something that was meant to be difficult (for my character's race). It is sort of like playing a halfling fighter or a half-orc sorcerer, by playing a race against convention let's me be unique among many.

As to your comment about th jawa ion eating away at your mind, if you use it to spam with, sure it will. I think if you were to really get into being a riflemen you would find out that there is a different rifle for different situations. I have several of each type of rifle along with an assortment of powerups to help me modify my guns on the fly as needed.

One more thing, my personal badge of honor is that I have reached the skill levels I am at without ever owning a pet (my mount iseven aregular non-ch carrion spat which is worth nothing in combat). That is not to say that groups I have traveled with did not have pets, but I can't control that.
