Thread: Woot Master in 5hrs
Saturday - TKA in 3. CH in 5.
Sunday - Carbineer in 5.
Monday - Rifleman in 5.
That is all.
You mastered Rifleman in 5 hours? Is that what that meant? Wow I can't believe that if that is what you are saying. I'm not a powerplayer but it took me 2 months.
I'd be interested to hear how you did it - /looking doubtfull

More profession dabblers..... YAY!
Probably the same guy who in July was on the Gorath board SWEARING up and down that he could run across an entire planet in 10 minutes - not a city - the planet. Man he got smacked around on the board haha.
Haz - Gorath
hah, i beat him by 4 hrs and 55 minutes
no, really...
no, i mean it. 5 minutes and i was a master rifleman, and it was an afk macro to boot. i also got master ranger at the same time. no, really... did i mention that i was a master doc as well? did that one in 3 minutes
and if it took you longer, you obviously do not know what you are doing.
if this guy is not joking, heis trolling.
all the professions are set up to where it will take longer than 5 hours to master anything. just due to the sheer number of eeps it takes, not to mention going back and forth from the activity of shooting to a trainer. hell, even if the guy had a master rifleman next to him to train him immediately when he got enough eeps for a box, it would still take at least 11 minutes to just go through the training dialogs.
so he mastered rifle in 4 hrs and 49 minutes? oh wait, that does not include the time it would take to travel back and forth to different places to shoot things. unless, of course, he found the infinite-spawn-high-HAM-non-BAF mob, that we have all been looking for.
sure, 5 hrs.

ok the most unbeliveable thing is CH in 5 hrs.
just a lier/troll on the forums

Psh, he thinks that's awesome? I built a deathstar in 1 hour and 15 minutes, then blew up 4 planets in less than 20 minutes. Did I mention I'm the real Luke Skywalker? Really!!! I'm giving autographs! Send me money too! Lots of it!
(He must realllly underestimate the intellgence of even 5 year olds to believe that one :smileytongue![]()
Apparently there's a bug with AoE attacks which you can exploit in the rancor cave. There's a big discussion of it on the TK board where this guy was also trolling.
*shrug* Whatever makes you happy, I guess. Congrats on your achievement.
Exploit or not,the trip from Novice to Mastertakes something like 3,825,000 Rifle XP (ignoring the Combat XP from Specail Abilities). Five hours is 300 minutes. That works out to 12,750 XP per minute. Assuming he found a place to kill high level creatures without personal risk and was getting 5k per kill, that is still 2.55 high-level creatures per minute non-stop for the entire 5 hours. That is a kill every 23 seconds non-stop, and that does not even take into account the fact that you do not get your first AE shot until x-x-3-x or x-x-x-3. It is something like 925,000 Rifle XP to get to Flushing2 before he can even start using this proposed AE expolit. If it was the AE exploit mentioned, he would have had to have brought in enough Combat XP from elsewhere to get to Flurryshot2 right of the bat, meaning, if nothing else, he did not get a good chunk ofthe combat XPin that 5 hours, nullifying his claim.
Have any of you been able to fire non-stop for even 1 minute without running out of mind when you were unbuffed? Muon Gold or other buffs can help you do that, but you get a 3 minute downer with Muon Gold for every 10 minutes of firing time. That decreases your available time by about 1/3, making it even harder to achieve your goal.
I just do not see how it can be done mathematically. Maybe with some perfect form of buffing and awith doctor and combat medic standing by constantly healing you and with master level speed from the begining, it might be possible. But no, I just do not see it.
If it is possible, then it is obviously an exploit, and the guy should not be congratulated, but reported.
