I'd also say get Ranged Support IV until you are high enough in Rifle not to need it any longer. At Master Rifleman, Ranged Support's skill points can be better used elsewhere especially if you have some TKA skills.

I would suggest...


Master Rifleman, TKM, 4/0/0/4 marksman, 4/0/0/0 scout, 2/1/0/0 medic.


First off, you have both long range and short range covered. With medic... if you're spending time and mind healing yourself instead of firing strafe2s, chances are you've already lost. Healing speed is not a big issue, but you should be able to handle bleeds.

You can drop to 1000 scout without losing anything essential. 4000 isn't very much faster up hills than 1000 and you can just run around lairs instead of using mask scent to go through.

Do you want to deal death out? If you're not opposed to getting buffed and can find the decent buff, try this:


Master rifleman


Master Brawler (until you master TKM)


Swordsman - 0004 (mind bleeds)


TK - (especially get the med. line and precision striking line)


Nothing is funnier than bleeding with mindshots, letting them come to 20m of you, Kding them, delaying them, and then beating them with more mind bleeds with a hammer. Then you can casually walk back out to 20m and continue shooting them.

What i had figured out was i could do;


Master Rifleman


Commando 0-0-4-0


TK 4-0-0-4


Medic 2-1-2-0


and look for terrain negotation skill mods


I went with Smuggler 0-4-4-0 instead of TK 4-0-0-4

It's mainly for soloing pve....i wanna be able to build camps, walk well and heal well. that template gives me those things....however...is it good for both pve and pvp? (i dont need to be a master in pvp juis to be ablt to hold some ground) and overall is it a good template? thanks

if you plan on straight soloing it doesn't look bad. have you added up the SP to make sure it will work???? (probably a dumb question).


its more on the the style of how you play, and what suits you the best. think about if you are going to be buffed all the time. if so i'd drop the med skills and spend them towards TKM, or in the scout tree that gives you a better harvest. if not just rememebr that all of your HAM costs effect the mind pool for Rifleman, so you need to be a little more careful with useing specials and heals.


mess around with it and see what suits you the best. the exp at the novice levels isn't that hard to get back if you don't like something.
