Either look for a T21. Or find another Laser Rifle that is faster. Then get it sliced and throw on a powerup. You'll want to have both rifles in your inventory probably. I carry two Laser Rifles, T21, Jawa, and a DLT20a. The DLT is for killing lairs and autoattacks. The others I use for bleeds, headshots, etc and have powerups on them.

T21 is NOT faster than a laser, and at novice you'll miss all the time because the accuracy sucks. Use a speed-sliced laser or E11 instead.

not only do i disagree.. but i have to wonder if you're intentionally being an ass, or if you're just uninformed.

T21's have outrageous mind costs (less of an issue for novices since they shoot so slow, but still) and more importantly, horrible base speeds. Since the guy is a NOVICE, a T21 is a complete waste of time.

My advice is to get a laser speed sliced, and add speed powerups. You need to maximize your DPS to level quickly, and that means maximizing your rate of fire.

Incidentally, you'll need more than 1 laser, since constant powerup use (which really helps you level in this case) will burn your guns up at a phenomenal rate. i think i went through 3 sliced lasers in going from novice to master.

DLT20a's are a good choice too, if you're hunting unarmored targets, which most stuff is. balance the damage/armor piercing of lasers against the damage/speed of DLT20a's on your server to see which is a better fit. On Scylla and Kauri (the two servers i mastered on), lasers were the better choice.

I have a t21 that is 157-477 dmg sliced anduse powerups 7.3 speed. My rifle only has 279 dmg kinda sucks, 8.3 speed and it was sliced.

yeah... thats it, i was just being an ass... **edit** you.

i was just telling ecodool what worked for me the whole way from novice to master, no need to be a douche about it.

but, ecodool, you may want to get some crates of Muon Gold to help with the HAM costs. i usually have enough handy, so i don't really worry about HAM costs. but, as a backup, i have a speed-sliced laser rifle.

sorry for being an ass, i was just trying to help

For a novice rifleman I would recommend a slicer laser rifle. Mine is4.0 spd 100-450 dmg, about 20 on each HAM, and with a powerup(i have a full crate) it increases the damage by %14 and speed -.20 ending up in 2.0 spd.

Don't think that low damage is bad if you have very good speed....

A good sliced E11 from a master Suggler with a speed enhancement on it can rake up the points and as they are cheap you can have two or three in the inventory and don't need to keep popping back to town
