I'm trying to get master. Bullcrap Pikets are easy. Every conceal shot I do reveals me. I take cover, spam my conceal shot and they catch me. I'm prone, mask scent. I just dont get it! Is there something I'm doing wrong. Between this and the Pikets disapearing right as I'm about to kill them, master rifleman will take 6 months

I was just incapped again! WHAT AM I DOING WRONG! I've been at this for half an hour and I've killed 1 piket! ONE!

I will ask the obvious questions just in case:

What range are you engaging from? If it is under 60m then that is your problem.

Are you prone and stationary?

Do you peace after a single Miss?

IF none of these are the problem, I don't know what to say.

I'm at 60 exactly. and I dont peace after a single miss. I wasnt aware that I was supposed to. hmm.

Also make sure you do not shoot the lair with any pickets up. They will immediatly BAF on you. Take out the plainswalkers or longhorns first, then the females. (walkers and longhorns BAF if you pull a female)

conceal shot breaks on the second miss. So if you miss once, peace, wait a few seconds and start over.

So do I hit conceal shot once and just let it go until I miss?

Its just not working. I even spam it and nothing works. and its kinda hard to keep at 63 away when they are slowly walking around

I have a Spectre T21! I CANT STAY HIDDEN!

This work perfectly for me! Prone 60m(+/-), conceal shot and thas its, a lot of xp doing that! Even after a miss,i still using conceal shot! Alright; its a bit boring always hiting the conceal shot key and be successful

well woopdy doo for you and all the other damned rifleman. **edit** jedi. I'm never going to get it because i REFUSE TO DO RIFLEMAN! I thought I would love this profession. I have wanted to do this profession since the beginning of the game but If i'm out of aggro range, spamming conceal shot, never missing, taking cover, masking scent AND STILL GETTING HIT then I'm done.

That's your problem! EVERY shot has to be a conceal, otherwise they will act like normal. If you drop an auto-attack in, BAF citywill bea stop over on your way to the cloning center.It will take a spam of conceal shots, maybe 5-10 to take one out (depending on your gun).

but thats not my problem, i didnt know so i've been hitting conceal every time. but nothing works.

I've gotten 3k rifle exp in an hour. I could have gotten more than that from meatlumps and ragtags

Try without the mask scent, they make be breaking the scent and aggroing that way. Other than that, ya got me. I'd try it on NPCs too, you can make awesome xp of con yellows and whites with about 6k+ hams.
