TH, You lost me on this one. We have been giving specific issues for months now and we are not getting a thing in return. All that we see in the future is a possible nerf(speed cap change) which was hinted at with your top 5 list for pistoleers. You can only say "just wait" for so long. Frustration has set in and people are extremely upset.

exactly, how many times can we give you very detailed design request changes only to hear "change is coming"? then people complain and you come on a board and post "we are working on communication structure changes". it's a forumula i deal with every day at work so it's pretty easy to spot here too.
you understand why we feel like the excersize is futile right?

Nothing has been listed to the Correspondents outside of its coming.
Where did we get a damage increase?
I'm still waiting on "details" of this. Personally I've noticed the difference.
What does HAM cost have to do with useless specials?
I assume they mean they are going to wait, and revise everthing with the new balances.
Where are the parts of the original top-5 issues that are not included here (like damage types)?
The same here, damage types will be changed/revised/adjusted in the new balance.

Thunderheart, this is borderline insulting, no, this is insulting.
We have provided several detailed reports about our issues, again and again and again. The last prominent posts about this are here:

As you can hopefully see, our current issues or almost identical with the "old" top 5 issues.
What exactly are you asking for? What are you telling us in the first pleace here?
We provide detailed bugs/issues about the CURRENT system, and you tell us "we will adress this in the NEW system".
We WANT to provide detailed issues about the NEW system, but we don't get ANY information about this.
Asking for information that will be either ignored because it will be changed anyway (and hass already been around in a very complete list), or for input that we can not give you because you won't let us be part of the design process, is either stupid or insulting.
Yes, I know, ranting and btching in these posts will not help to get an answer or even a reply, but the behaviour you continue to demonstrate is beyond my comprehension. I am sorry, but I don't know any other way to deal with this stuff.

Obviously we have an idea of what our Profession is supposed to be, and hopefully the Dev team has an idea. They know the code and what the other professions are going to do, but we know Riflemen best. We live it each time we log on, and our experience is unmatchable by the Devs in that respect. Same can be said with any profession. For the Devs not to communicate their plan and vision would have them foolishly repeat the mistakes from the past.
With that said, I wish TH would comment on the bogus answer of 64 being the max range.
I would like atleast another 20 points to rifle accuracy while moving at master, currently I only have 10..And that really hurts when people move around a lot and have a ton of counterattack block type mods.
Also, all our state change moves are useless in pvp, no one EVER will kneel or go prone in a pvp fight. We need a posture down move.

I deal with this kind of lip service everyday at work from people who are out of touch with what is ACTUALLY going on in the world that they impact. First, read the forums, there are dozens and dozens of posts talking about bugs and other issues that you act as if you have had no clue about. You act like it's a huge surprise when people bring up issues and claim they have been there forever. READ THE FORUMS AND LISTEN TO THE CORRESPONDENT. Why have these avenues of communication if you don't use them?
This upcoming "improvement" could prove a decision that will make or break this game. If it makes it so you absolutely have to group to kill anything of any level, then most people will leave the game. People DO NOT have time to site around and form groups. I saw three other people on Yavin today in the five hours I was there. Two of them were merely checking their harvesters. People play games, this or any other, to feel like they are powerful. If I wanted to have to group, I would have played EQ or FF. The casual player wants to log on, kill some layers and log out with a since of accomplishment.
I have the same problem in my company where upper management (similar to the DEVs, as they make all the decisions) want to know why they are loosing business. When I (the players in this case) explain it to them, they act shocked and then proceed down a path that has no relation to fixing the ACTUAL problems. You are currently acting in this manner. You nerfed creature handlers out of existence. You decided to create a new system instead of fixing the old one. You continue to give lip service instead of giving actual answers.
Here are the questions people want answers to:
1. What is the new combat system and how it is specifically different from the current system?
2. Will the rifle damage types be fixed, why or why not?
3. Will there be a speed cap, if so explain why?
4. Why is the range of rifles limited to 64m? People have proven that the "it's bug and no one can shoot over 64m" answer is complete sh!t and that the DEVs have merely failed in there attempt to cover it up. Face it we already know that people can shoot over 64m without issue. Give us a logical and THOUGHT out response.
5. What is the new skilltree going to look like, specifically?
6. What are the weapon changes, specifically?
I really want to know the answers to all these questions before I continue to waste my time on yet another profesion that will be nerfed in the near future. I also want to know so that I can consider whether this game is worth my time at all. Why pay 15 bucks a month for pure agrivation everytime my character is nerfed because some exec. decides they can make more money by screwing with the game.
Doesn't make you want to play a character with the hint of a massive nerf coming. Please just tell me now so I can start the mindless/timesink of of opening my Jedi slot.

Let me tell you something youve heard it before but as an M60 machine gunner for 7 years never once qualifying less than expert, i could put a round in a gnats a$$ at 1000 meters. now that being sed an Isreali Military Industries Desert Eagle 50caliber magnum express can shoot roughly 200 meters accurately with factory barrel. So heres the dilemma fair game play, none of you will be this honest so let me present the way it works, for what ever reason i shoot a player and hit a mind shot i run to stay out of maximum effective range of their weapon anyway. So theres no such thing as fair game play, only better tactics. There is no realistic way a pistoleer should own a rifleman. 15 Pistoleers shouldnt own a rifleman. BTW thats the stats on the most powerful handgun in the world vs an ok machinegun thats not counting equally as effective 50cal machine guns or snipr rifles that shoot 2K. The maximum effective range of a rifle should be 5 times as much as a pistol. i should never get tagged unless i get flanked. stop listening to fair game self esteem tball playing i dont wanna lose still nursing from mommy whiners. yanno with war comes tactics, pistoleers should rule cantina fights but you come out to the jungle or some other area i can get a long range shot there is no fathomable reason a carbiner/pistoleer/bh/commando would ever touch me.
Klaw i dont know you i wont slam you MUCH. But please dont say youre excited over a new system then turn around and say there isnt any vision for it. If your excited over something you have no visual for it makes you sound like a brick. now that being sed Klaw are you a current rifleman? yanno when i got hit with CM mind poison the other day, incapped me in seconds and gave me 100% wounds with matching BF, i knew i was in the wrong profession, seemingly both my professions are soon to be dead Rifleman/CH.
