Thread: What is best profession to match with master riflemen
the other nice thing about fencer is ScatterHit2 with a stun baton. not only does it do stun dmg (when holding stun baton) but scatterhit goes through defense stacks AND dmg's all pools (for mind dmg).
fencing/rifleman is extremely fun -
seflyn, what should we master next? lmao
I'm not a min/maxer, and I don't like uneven pvp games (come see me in PS if you have a problem with that
), so I don't give a hoot about any sort of uber combat template. I play what's fun and fits my playstyle, rifle/ranger.
Now that holowhoring is almost done with, rangers are finally going to be people who actually dig playing them
But for a tangible reason, the boost to hitting creatures, crawl speed, and conceal are pretty nifty to have.
gamer:
3. pvp: the only use in heavy group pvp for this combo in the powerboost/meditating away disease/poison. For solo pvp, the tk kd2 is great, as is the stat bonuses
2. Thats why you start out with your vk's equipped and wear your tk title. they will try to kite you if they are ranged. thats when you switch to the t21 and blast away. if they are melee, just kite them.
1. Not sure how it will be after the balance, but melee mitigation + rangedis nice, and rifle needs the boost to state defenses. all of this is subject to change though.
Questions to the Rifleman/TKA Combo people...
1. In terms of PvP, do you find TKA useful next to rifle?
2. In what situation do you see yourself lowering your rifle for your VK in PvP?
3. And other than its PvP damage value and Defences, what else does TKA offer to a Rifleman to helpthem in PvP?

have yet to find anything to break conceal when I don't get stupid.
There is a way they break conceal unfortunately. If you conceal shot something long enough, it will get a action bleed for 1. This automatically agroes it on you. Luckily, you are on the ground prone, so by the time you realize it is charging you, it has already caught you.
As for the profession to match with Rifleman, ABSOLUTELY, POSITIVELY DOCTOR!! The mind migration is so important that if i ever drop doc, i will drop rifleman as well. I just cannot imagine being a rifleman without it. I was a master pistoleer, and it was alright. I got Pistoleer/doc, and it totally changed my outlook on soloing. I dropped pistols, and went rifle, and i must say, DOC is the best combat profession by far.
