Glad you chose this post...so you don't agree that I should be able to kill a master riflemen at POINT BLANK range? My kd/dizzy has failed and am sol for 30 seconds taking massive damage while this guy never misses me...You don't think that's unfair to meleers? I mean I had the skill to get to point blank range only to lose to a guy holding a rifle (that by the way was sticking 2 feet through my head)...okay, you guys keep on being meglomaniacs, I don't care anymore.

Whine in the Teras Kasi forum about not being powerful enough. Nerfs are destructive, not constructive.

Wow, glad you totally evaded answering it....hmmm, you think that's fine then I'm assuming.

Well lets see...

You fought a master rifleman... and you lost. Big deal. Grow up. He isnt a master because he wats to get beaten by a TKA. You being the tka should know better. TKM is way more overpowered than master rifleman. That is because it is "balanced" i guess. Im a tkm too btw. Just because you beat every other combat profession out there, then lose to a master rifleman doesnt give you the right to call nerf.

How about pistoleer using stopping shot with the stun pistol and hitting for outrageous numbers (i was master pistoleer- im guilty too). Or what about smugglers bein the most dabbled profession.

Dont call for nerfs, ask for balance. it is known that the combat system is getting revamped. Hold your bitching and moaning til after it is done.

You people make me sick.

I find it hilarious that the original poster whined that we get so much block. Block doesn't even work! And then to have a TKM complaining about not being able to kill a rifleman at close range...it's like I've entered noobville.

Xytron, we CAN kill anyone at close range- just as ANY other combat profession can. Just because you CAN do something doesn't mean it's easy or will happen very often. It is certainly not easy for a Rifleman to kill at close range under any circumstances. Case in point- you suck at TKA. Please leave

well im master pistoleer/smuggler and i get lucky if i can even hit a master rifleman specially if there tkm aslo. even if i get lucky and hit em with panic or low blow if there buffed no chance with no mind shot. specially when they can either use mind shot with jawa rifle or use advanced strafe for over 1k of damage hehe. even kiting doesnt work very good. plus they can run and shoot and not miss and still evade all my shots. i have never beaten a rifleman least with tkm as long as i dont get kd dizzy i have a chance. pets dont stand a chance either when they hit them with advanced strafe for 3 or 4k damage lol.

riflemen are almost unstopable see it all the time on our server usually takes atst to take em out or 4 or 5 of us.

Omg this is stupid. I'm a TKM, currently climbing up the Rifleman tree.

It's pathetic the way people come and scream nerf just because their "uber" template or class lost once or multiple times to another person. I kick Master Sharpshooters asses ALL the time. They challange me to duels in Starports, raids, whatnot. But... Master Sharpshooters kick MY ass all the time. It's called balance. One class isn't supposed to win every bloody time, and Rifleman don't. You think this game is all about specials moves and mods? Think again. There is skill involved. I've seen people with 2 Master combat professions who suck major donkey balls in battle. If you get a Master Sharpshooter who knows what he is doing, while you just spam your most powerfull attack, you deserve to lose. Oh.. and rifleman having the best defenses in the game... what the hell are you smoking? Have you ever seen a Fencer? Or better yet, try fighting a Fencer/TKA. Have fun with that. *rolleyes*

You say Rifleman is overpowered? I say it's balanced. Crap like this hits the TKA forums all the time, cause people were too stupid to kite cause they have "Uber l33t dodge" and crap like that they think they should just win. Instead of asking people "What is best combo for pistolz !>??!?!!1" Why don't you just realize that there is none. Learn to play your classes according to different situations. You might actually have fun.

These threads are sad..

As I see it, there is nothing really wrong with the Rifleman prof. Currently a lot of the combat profs have broken specials or are just totally gimped. At some point all of these combat professions well be somewhat equal.

My guess is that Rifleman got a lot of fixes before any of the other combat profs which would explain why people think they are so "uber" in PvP.

Here's a novel idea.... stop nerfing professions and balance them instead. I'm tired of hearing people cry for nerfs. Handicapping isn't the answer. Look what happened to the AT-ST. Balance the play system a little better. There should be weaknesses to everything... and if you're a melee profession, your weakness should be damage from ranged professions. Sorry. That's called "balance". This game isn't about creating supercharacters that can kill anything. If you want that go play an FPS or Everquest. Composite Armor should have a weakness to something, in this case Stun damage. Riflemen have weaknesses, although we mitigate it with mind buffs/food/spice. If you're a TKM and going to fight a rifleman, perhaps you should readjust your strategy. The game isn't built for one profession to reign supreme over any other; it's built around the idea that you'll have to use other players as support for one another. A group of all rifleman would fall in a heartbeat to a well-rounded group of players.

Strength of an idea doesn't involve silly things like the truth or logic, you just make proclaimations as loudly as possible without leaving room for compromise.

The spirt of the nerf is evil and destructive, we must work against it always.
