What are you 8 or 9 years old? Stop crying you little baby, SHAPE UP!! You're right, you're no rifleman material, but you can try to fake it at least!!

Obviously you miss way too often for conceal shot.

If you miss twice, then they will agro on you. If they move to close to you then you have to peace and back off.. KEEP YOUR DISTANCE!! 60 m or more..

Just go kill something weaker and come back when you're a bit faster and stronger.

What boxes do you have so far.. is it just 010 0?

Conceal shot is not the answer to everything. It takes a long time to kill something even if you don't miss. I suggest picking on something your own size and use MS1 and MS2 (they stack) and then spam HS2. It would also help you to get a small tank to keep the enemy of your butt. If not then use warning shot to make them back off... I hope you have warning shot.

Also, migrate all your stats to Mind, and then BUFF yourself before you go out if you're not already doing that. You'll live longer.

And if rifleman keeps you from completing your Holo grind then I say.. GOOD you whiny little **edit**, you deserve it!! You wanna be a Jedi, but you have no patience!! How did you ever think you could holo grind your way to it.?!

I agree, I am can solo pickets as Master Rifleman...but to solo them before, using Conceal shot, would probably take way too much mind.

I had alot more success with "Bolle Bols" on Naboo. They look like pickets just not as tough.

Or Fambaa, again on Naboo.

Just get in a big group and stand in the back, the targets stays sobusy with pets and meleers that you rarely get attacked.

You must not be using conceal shot. I mask scent and go prone at 55 meters and just spam conceal over and over again, I actualy took out a kryat that way so there should be no way a piket would be charging you unless you miss twice or are not using conceal shot. Heck with a little skill you can easily solo them with head shots and mind shots.

fambaas on naboo were great , loved em! but have you tried getting one since the vechile patch!

i could solo em as novice rifleman with a gsp and a few pet stim. (taking about the whole lair) but we had a group of 8 people 2 grauls and 2 gsps and we couldnt get em! they ave been messed up.

I'm sorry i have a similar problem with pikets but Im not complaining other creatures are just as good and are easier to kill. Forget pikets and do something else. better yet use your mount as a defensive wall against charging pikets. Or level on rogue fambaas or something like that. I spent alot of time hunting fambaa when i turned rifleman learned to jump on my mount and ride away blasting away at the pursuing rogue fambaa. Its fun and better to use something with rapid fire since specials wont work on mount back. So i always pulled my spraystick out, Now i think i would use the e11 or jawa ion i have since purchased. not as fast but deal out nice levels of damage.

The rifleman grind has been very fun to me. I initially came on these boards, read all the hints and tips from the masters, posted a couple of questions of my own and then started out.

First thing i did was go 0100, then 0130, then 2 days later 4444.

Conceal shot everything till you get flushing shot 2. With flushing shot 2 and a small tank (pet) you can take out whole lairs of huf dun, tortur, grand wrix, quenkers, huurtons, pikets, whatever you so choose.

In fact I went to all the planets and found which of the above had the best resources to harvest and ground them up and when I hit master I had 40k of insane resources to sell.

See, I made money, I mastered rifleman, I had fun AND I did it in about 30 hours of game time.

if your struggling with pickets try quenkers, just prone at a good distance and due to GENERALLY low HAM (most are 4-5k but have seen some 10k) you can prone and use your 3 free shots with headshot2 and they are dead! pinch of pee mate. 3.5k weapon xp

dunno why you are struggling with the pickets, they never detected me and i take out 4 per muon with conceal. Bols now them fcukers always see me.

or, 3 headshot2s to mountain dewbacks = 3kish xp

I'm a new rifleman... just got it today, actually (had 300k combat exp saved up so thats where the 3 boxes in Rifle Abilities came from).

I tried the conceal shot thing, from anywhere between 50 and 64m... and never once had a problem except when I missed twice. One even got to within 30m and still didn't do anything.

Though it was easy, it took f'ing forever. So I switched to Huurton Huntresses. Same exp per mob, and they die quicker. Plus there are only 2. But I've been leveling on Huurtons since I was a commando a few months ago.

You must be doing something horribly wrong if you're getting aggroed every time.

Ok i just started rifleman and got sniper in three days you really should get a nice rifle and go for the sniping box i find it easy each time i i level.I hunted gurks unite sniper3 then i started hunting dantooie hight level mobs
