I grouped with a master ranger/master CHand went to Yavin IV to hunt klikniks and Mawgax's. Great XP, especially once you get an AOE attack. The other thing you can do is tag along with groups doing Piket lairs on Dant. Concealshot is great for soloing, but its very slow. I make a lot more experience, a lot faster, in a group, using Flushingshot2. Just food for thought.

Now talk about NICE..... on those 4 missions alone..... i went up 50k exp along with a 300 combat exp per Nym or Droidekar. And collected 10k per mission. (each mission is 20k but we are grouped so you know how that goes). So in about 1 hour and a half........ i got 50k exp and 40k credits. So if we had spent 4 hours on Nym's like i did with the Quenkers i could have wound up with 200k exp and 120k credits...

The way we did this was each of us Popped Moun, went prone..... and did Head shot 3 on the same Target. These Nym's have arounda 9.5k HAM......so if you don't have Conceal and a high rate of fire (basically if you are not Master).... I suggest Both take out the same target with Headshot 3 before they agro.So within 3-4 head shots each (doing around 1100-1400 damage per shot avg. Not counting the nice hard hits of 1900 or 2100), these Nyms were dead before they even knew what hit them.

So betweensoloing the Quenkers and the Nym's i went up to a pretty nice level last night. And i suggest if you can get a Rifleman freind......to combo with, Those Nyms are actually a better Bet for Exp in a shorter amount of time.

P.S. Not to mention you get loot from the Nyms as well.....

if you get counter-sniping 3 first, you could get the other 2 trees in a couple hours with the AOE shot

I took the advice of the Quenkers on Dat and purchased three crates of Muon Gold. My first experience with the stuff. Soon enough, I picked up my other T21 (I have one slcied for speed the other for damage) I decided to equip the damage one. And off I went to theed to purchase my tickets to reach the Imperial Outpost on Dantooine. I was a bit nervous I must admit. This is actually the first time I've been to this planet, and I am usually killed quite easy by most creatures. I called my only pet, an ATST and grouped with him to get the high level savage quenker missions. After i told him to stay, I set off for my mission. I was not sure what i was going to find, but I figured I would die. I srarted out yesterday on my quest as a 1100 rifleman. Quickly I got the hang of hunting these things. I found out about my wounderful mind bleed I have with mind shot 2. I used that for a while and overcharged for the final blow. Got me enough xp, but it took a while. Soon I leveled and now a 2100. I got Head Shot 3, and found the joys of this. I am blowing through xp like nothing else. Since yesterday, I am now 2101, and tonight when I get home from work, i shall be 3101 quite shortly. I hope to make 4101 by tomorrow night. It is very possible if you have the time, it's just I don't have time on weekends.

The Quenkers will not slain you in my experience. At first when I was getting used to hunting them I was incapped alot. But never slain. So as long as you are careful, you are good to go. Thanks for the advice. And as Luke went to Dagobah to "grind" Jedi, I will be on Dantooine to grind Master Rifleman, never leaving. I shall return to my home... a master.

/bow thanks for the advice

And in two days, I have become addicted to muon gold, never again shall I venture without it. I love drugs.

Well, I guess I'll kick down my 2 credits to help the othern00bs ^^ I'm currently a 2/1/1/2 Rifleman -though I'd recommend 1/1/0/x, then 1/1/3/x if you've got the choice - I capped my EXP during a hunt and had to train the second box of Sniping to keep from waisting time and Headshot3 isn't really all that when you're waiting forever between shots.

Anyway, my advice is really simple and it applies to everyone - find a swordsman!! I got bored soloing quenkers one day and used the Search tab from CTRL + P to look up Swordsmen on Dant. I figured since we both hit the mind bar and my main cause of death is lack of a good tank when /concealshot misses, we'd be the perfect combo. Anyway, there weren't any swordsmen - but I found a brawler who was 0/0/4/0 and working on Novice Swordsman who joined my group.

We proceeded to shred everything on Dantooine with no serious problem.

If you find a tank with a mind attack and a good set of armor, you can dish the big damage while they stand in front of things. I went from 1/1/0/2 to 2/1/1/2 in one 4 hr night and almost got the combat Xp for 2/1/1/3 and my first AoE! I also netted a total of 120k credits, which isn't bad for mostly Longhorn Piket missions. We weren't focused on specific mobs, and generally killed whatever we came across as it seems that most of Dantooine is highly agressive.

After my Swordsman partner hit Novice, the power hammer came out and we really started flying through missions. Though she's still slow as molasses with that hammer, one AoE will really get the attention of the surrounding mobiles.. after I get my first AoE, we're planning to set up so she's standing on the lair and spamming AoE attacks to bump creatures out while I drop AoE attacks from afar to help drop the critters. From what I understand, the Swordsman AoE can KD things- which means that Flurryshot2 + Swordsman AoE = Area KD / Dizzy.

This seems to be working really well for me, and always hitting the mind bar means things go down fast for quick XP even when we're working on small stuff. Honestly though, the EXP is just a bonus at this point - I'm really enjoying the company for that long trip to Master.

Best of luck, all!

I am a Master Swordsman... our AoE attacks are SUPPOSED to KD, but they very rarely do. If you can get a Swordsman that has Master Brawler as well, then the 2H Lunge2 is a KD attack (it's not AoE though)and actually does KD very often.

That's is the template I'm going for, btw... Master Brawler-Master Swordsman-Master Rifleman.

well folks, Conceal Shot is the best thing I've seen in the game so far. Yesterday I was on Dath, and I've spent the whole afternoon killing the nightsisters (solo) with conceal shot and a lot of muon gold.

If you have enough time to waste, you can even solo the elder, because if you are at the right distance and use aim, she doesn't aggro.

I couldn't loot her because there was a spellweaver near her corpseand she was immune to energy DMG

I've also managed to kill a nightsisters creature tamer and her 3 rancors, it's a bit long but if you stay at the right distance you can kill'em all and they won't see you.

Then I tried to kill an ancient bull rancor but even with Mask Scent 70+15 he was able to detect me, I tried 3 or 4 times then I went back to the outpost

Ah, I'm only 1-1-0-1.. I don't think that there's another class that can solo those monsters at Novice..

soling nightsisters with conceal is easy.....for the most part. Until they find you....then you have to run your butt off. I always leave my bike a few feet behind me so i can get on it and high tail it outta there like a little sissy girl if my conceal breaks.

Im still new to rifleman (1/0/0/2) but I have found a few places that a good for leveling:

Near Krayt Graveyard on Taooine:

Pretty much anywhere on Dantooine (all missions have a minimum of 34 didficulty regardless skills or group size)

Blue Leaf Temple on Yavin 4. (Once you get past the entrance guards, you can snipe a good number from the upper level without the kilcknits being able into close range)

On a side note: should I aim for Head shot 3 or conceal shot next?

Conceal........You will be able to solo just about anything with it. Then exp points will fly up very easily and you will get hs3 in no time.

I'll add one more idea to the mix, gurks on Lok.

I am 4/3/4/3 in the tree. The grind is almost over. My bread and butter through much of it was torturs and huf duns on Talus using /concealshot. As I levelled, though, my XP from these went down. Now, I can one-shot huf duns, but I only get around 800 xp.

I've started hunting gurks instead. You can get missions by yourselfat Nym's that pay around 9k credits each. Gurks are around CL 28-30, nine per lair, 3k XP each,no DB, not aggro, and drop herb meat. Perfect. The lair gives another 4k XP. I can solo one in about 30 secs bydrinking a breath of heaven, eating a ryshcate andusing /mindshot2; /mindshot1; /headshot3; /headshot3, etc. About half the time, they're dead before they even get to me. If not, I just stand and keep headshotting them with a jawa rifle until they go down. Sometimes they get a hit or two in on me.

Gurkswill be my new staple until the grind is over. Mynoks on Lokare alsogood, but they DB, so be careful.
