Thread: Going Rifleman today, any hints on levelling up?
The Marines do fall under the Department of the Navy. As to french and SAS I have no idea where those ideas came from, but simple search at google of british military can clear that up for anyone who is interested.
Thank god! I believe you have reached your quota for stupid posts anyway.

This is so funny cuz i just read a book on this...
The SAS was formed in 1940-41 by major David Stirling, he pooled many of his people fromm the disbanded Middle Eastern Commando Bridage. His Intitiale idea was to para drop his troopers into the desert to raid and kill Axis Airfields and then get drove out by the LRDG (long range desert group), but seeing how the winds shift in the desert so frequently and dramatically he opted to join his forces with the LRDG (the union was widely aggreed upon). They fought with destinction destroying over 250 planes by the time The Afrika Korps pulled back from tunisia.
in current times here are the spec ops units that i know of
French= GIGN
German=GSG9
Britian=SAS,Commandos,BSB
Russia=Spetznaz
US= Green Berets, Delta, SEAL, Ranger, Force Recon, CC (combat controller) air force)), Parajumpers, Task Force 160th (night stalkers)
Now Ona, i think you are very wrong in yur assumption (yes you are assuming, a$$ outa you and me stuff) that the SAS was originated in the SAS...Yes the French had Britian trained SAS units that operated in Africa but they were trained by brits. soooo.....in conclusion you are a misguided bafoon Ona....Learn about the topic b4 you speak, to me you sound like an armchair quaterback tryin to live vicariously through what other people have accomplished and you cannot. I am in the DEP and going to basic in june. I have 9 weeks of basic, 4 weeks of AIT, and 2 weeks of Jump school. *hopefully* after i put in enuf time i wish to be stationed with the 173rd Airborn Brigade in Vincenza Italy.
