Thread: Food/drinks
A master Chef friend of mine has shared with my all his info on foods. You can eat and/or drink 4 items from artisan or two items from Chef (food and drink count seperately, not sure on digestion time). So if you stack a mind buff, a mind drug, 2 chef foods and 2 chef drinks you would havean invinciblemind...heh.Here are the ones that are either purely mind or mind is equal to other effects, mind ismy only interest, and I have orderedthem in theskill you or your chef needs to make them.

There were a few more he didn't have info for. I still need to try some of these. I like the Bivoli and Fishak as they are long lasting. The Fishak action cost does not affect me, first I am Rodian (with lots of action bonuses) and second a Rifleman (who doesnt need to move much, other than burst run, heh). The short lastingfood or drinksthat effect regeneration would be best used when your mind poolis way low and you justwant to get it back up more quickly.
I have a more complete list if anyone is interested. But until the 2.5 multiplier is gone I don't think the rest is that valid, unless you are trying to wear a full suit of armor or something, lol.
That looks like crap, why is there no edit? lol, I guess I should have "previewed".
Try this...

My prefered eating/drinking combo is this..
Breath of Heaven (Strengh, stamina, focus)Ryshcate(Strengh, stamina, focus), and Corellian Fried Ice Cream(Focus), and save muon for a desperate need..
With this combo, I can spam any shot on a T-21 forever just about, and takes no health/action or mind hits.
Keep in mind too that the quality/duration is depending on the level of the crafter and the quality of the goods. Also the # of uses if food is related to the above as well.
I've seen BoH with 20 uses 400+ on the stats and about 500s duration Very nice find.
Also I believe your "fullness" lasts 2x the food duration.. (1x for the buff and 1x for the "downtime")
Yep, this is what I do, and typically I find 450 s ones. I do one drink and one food and then fight. By the time the food runs out the battle is over and we are looking for the next critter lair. Usaually the time to the next lair gives enough pause that I can eat and drink more. With this combo it allowed me to put up with only 900 mind. Great stuff.
I save the Muon for the really, really scary things (Like Krayt).
Occationally, I can use foraged items to replace the CFI and some of the foraged stuff is really, really good (1 out of 10 searches). The rest is pet food.

can anyone tell me the side affects of Muon Gold please? I want to try this but i dont want to mess my player up. Just want to know how bad the side affects are if u pop it alot.
You constantly crave the muon..Your character will often be seen asking the Spice Fiends if they happen to have an extra hit of muon, even though those a-holes never answer...You beg smugglers to make you a free sample of muon because you ran out of money.
But seriously, the side effects are that your mind and secondary stats get lowered a bunch during the downer. Which lasts a couple of minutes. There are no long term effects of using spice, unless you count the bloodshot eyes, loss of weight, and loss of social interaction.
p.s. Do you have a free sample of muon I could test out??? PLEASE

LOL @ Skel
Yeah basically he's correct. Muon take your mind pool (and substats)down the same it takes them up. I believe all spice works this way, but not 100%, as I've only messed with Muon and Yarick(sp?)
Example:
Mind: 1100
Focus: 600
Willpower: 600
On muon:
Mind:1600
Focus:1100
Willpower:1100
After muon:
Mind:600
Focus:100
Willpower:100
You stay that way for approx 3 minutes Which needless to say can leave you vulnerable. And yes you can incap yourself if you're mind pool is too low when the spice wears off.
Food doesn't have this problem. The buffs just go away, and you just have to wait to eat again.
On a side note, kind of related to the topic, I was out hunting when my pet grand wrix Podo conveyed to me that he was hungry. Well, I've got a whole crate of bofa treats so I thought, ok, no prob I'll feed him. Unfortunately, there is no "feed" option in your inventory, only on the radial menu of the pet.
So Podo, being so similar to his master that he is, decides he doesn't want that bofa treat, he instead wants to eat my muon gold. I swear he stopped listening to commands even more after being drugged up! Needless to say, Podo was put out of his misery for stealing my spice, as a lesson to my other pets. Also, I now store my drugs in my backpack just in case one of my other pets decides to try their luck...
heh ya that happens sometimes lol
Has any1 ever been slain by muon? I'm usually pretty good at using it, I almost never get incaped on the downer but the only time I was I was slain. No hostile critters around of imps or anything it was just incaped...slain. Boom Boom. Has any1 ever experienced this?
likely happend because you hit the 3 incaps in 10 min. mind you since the patch you can't be incapped directly ie wandering around with 1 mind makes it so a nuna could take you out but /shrug
nice mind food/drink list have been useing glazed glocose paste but that always died to fast I'll try with the Bivoli ![]()
dont forget, they are currently working on re-vamping the chef's, allowing them to experiment on the "filling" quanity of the food/drink...
Imagine being able to do 2 vercuppi's (on my server, 475 willpower for 13 minutes) and 2 BOH's (+575 focus/str/quick for 8 minutes on my server)
Or 3 gluscose pate's (+450 mind/focus for 6.5 minutes) and 3 or 4 ice blasters (+180 willpower each for 5 minutes)
