Thread: A question for the riflemen.....masters mostly
There is a ONE SECOND CAP on all attacks in SWG.
If you think you saw 4 specials in 2 seconds, this is either due to lag (most likely), or something in your line of thought is wrong (like counting 2 shots with a one second cap between them as 2 shots per second), but the second one seems unlikely if you are sure there were FOUR shots in TWO seconds. Or, he was using an AE attack, which will hit mutiple targets in one shot, resulting in combat spam stating 5 or more shots in the same instant, as each hit will be logged as one attack.
Post that screenshot, so we can have a look (not that I don't believe you, but it might help).
However, I'll say it again: Everyone (including Master Rifleman with all skilltapes and weapons and skills they want) will have at least a one-second cap between all attacks.
Well if you count the first shot as 0 seconds, technically he did 3...
0 seconds Mind Shot #1
1 second Mind Shot #2
2 seconds Mind Shot #3
2 - 0 = 2 seconds, but that would only apply on the first person and if everyone else required 3 shots to kill as well, that'd be 3 seconds each. 3 x 3 = 9 + 2 = 11 seconds if he executed targeting players perfectly.
if he initiated combat, he would fire hte headshot at 0, then at 1, then at 2, counting for 2 seconds, 3 shots. not sure how snipershot would fit in though
and yes, im a lucky bastage have 2 different sets of clothes each with rifle speed +10 tapes, and 1 set of armor with +10 rifle speed ![]()
I find that +5 to rifle speed is all that is needed. +10 is an overkill. Wear enough for +5 and keep the others in the bank. You'll need them when death decay takes out the ones that you wear all the time.
