That rifleman is pretty much the only one that sucks pointblank ?

If we did not suck at point blank, we would be overpowered. A straight Melee profession has no hope of hitting me at 21m - 64m. Thus, if they stay out at 60m and let me shoot them, they are dead, and I am untouched. If they survive the damage a rifle can do while they run at me from 60m to get within melee range, then they deserve an advantage up close. Likewise, if I stand there and allow them to close to melee range as a Rifleman, then I deserve a butt-whoopin' for letting them get close or I had better have backup strategies, like a melee profession on the side. So our poor performance at pointblank is appropriate. The fact that a pistoleer can hit me at 64m nearly as well as I can hit him is an imbalance, but not our point blank accuracy.

Even so, bear in mind that it was not that long ago a TKA posted a complaint here that he was fighting a rifleman and got killed at pointblank range. So bad performance at pointblank range does not equate to no chance to hit or win.

But in answer to your question, I put down my T21 and pull out my Powerhammer (Swordsman) and marvel at range stats: -31 to point blank, -31 to ideal, and -31 to max. Hmmm. My elite (Swordsman equivalent of the T21)melee weapon's accuracy sucks at the only range it is useable at. Yeah, Rifleman are not the only ones who have pointblank range problems.
