if you think I'm subscribing to a board just so that I can edit it, you must be on a different Galaxy

If you're focus is at least 1500, you don't use any mind ...whether the rifle be a laser w/ 59 mind ham or a T21 w/ a 100 mind ham...w/ 1500 focus you don't use any mind. So, taking that into acct if you go1000 or 1100 on your focus, you'll just have to use one Ryshcate & you'll be good doing some PvP or whatever you want to do.

nice isn't it

with 800/800/1000 and a grey gabaki, I have little problems with the heavy hitters,

although I will have to watch out for scanners in the future

Focus....all the way. Reason? What happens if by some chance you don't have food available, or a musician buff? Rare occurances today, especially since I'm sure most of us are addicted to the buffs. But really, if you ever find yourself in need, high focus is always a plus. You'll be using just a little bit of power and in the long run that's better. Believe it or not, you don't even have to have a high primary mind stat. With high focus you can make use of what you have. Then if you really want to be funny, slap on some ham reducers and you're even better off. It'll save you if you're in split second battles etc, where even a hotkey delay can kill you.

I'm also thinking towards the future. We know very ....very....very...little about the new combat revamp. As far as we can tell, regen will be fast, while spamming will be done with. If that is truely the case, then high focus IS indeed the key (still have yet to figure out what our regen secondaries will be used for? Boosting even more speed to the supposedly already fast regen? Anybody's guess). Alright there ya go...high focus. May the muon be with you...always.

I felt that way until i made my alt a musician. Even with 75% buffs, 1.1k/.8k/1.1k is the way to go. With muon + glucose, my focus gets much higher than i need it to be, even with all my armor on.
