Thread: Disruptor rifle on TC2

From what I heard about this prototype, it was made with poor materials and bad experimentation (it's Test Center, after all). I would expect some improved stats/HAM costs when this gets to the live servers and into the hands of a well-supplied MWS.
The stats I posted were made off the copy of Bria that is being used to test the new Publish. Therefore it was made with the current resources on Bria, a live server, although the person did *NOT* post the stats of the resources used or the experimentation percentages. It does appear to be a replacement to the spraystick, which makes me think the spraystick may be headed for a different path in the combat review. I'd assume that the Disruptor Rifle, though, could be tweaked a little more, and might even be able to take some Krayt tissues for the super-PvP inclined. I guess we'll just have to wait and see, but I'm just happy to have a new toy
I think that's a typo; the screenshot of a completed rifle only has -80 at 64m.As far as I know, buff caps have not been changed on TC. Entertainer buffs seem to be capped at twice your base stat, but they've been like that for a while now.

Looks great except two things. The -180 at 64m seems a bit extreme, and the HAM costs look truly evil. (There is a rumour going around that buffs will cap at twice your base stat level, nice change if it's true but it will mean rifles like this will kill the user faster than the target.)

but uh... all i see there is pistols and other random screenshots :/
AP: Medium
Speed: 5.8 (I think hard to see)
Damage: 157-316
Wound chance: 37.3%
Range Mods: +1/+21/-80 at 0m/10m/64m
HAM cost: 32/36/58
I'm not a Rifleman but this looks to me like an assult rifle. Not like the current snipe style rifles you have. It has shorter range accuracy and seems to fire relativly fast compared to T21s (assuming that the disurptor hasnt been sliced yet.)
If thats the case then good for you guys. A close quarters weapon like this (I liken it to an M16 or MP5) would be interesting to see in action.
