Missed the lvling quiestion.
For lvling i used a 4.1 spd499(pre-powerup) odd damage lazer I paid 300k for. (+60 tissues with a good spd slice and a stock) I used this and my pets to take out lairs of pickets in no time flat. Get the AoE attack from countersniping 3 and have a friend sick his pets on the lair, wait a sec for them to get agro as well as the ones that pop out immiditly to get agro then target the lair and open up

Speed is like 5.7 which is no matter to a Master rifleman
Had two while leveling to master...
1. Laser (both)
2. 59-695 (non-krayt, 25% damage slice, 33% dmg powerup)
37-454 (speed slice, 33% damage powerup)
3. 5.9
4.0
4. 9.5k including slice
12.5k with speed slice
5. Yavin, Dathomir, Dantooine, Lok, and back to Yavin (it's all about the Dark Klikniks toward the end 
)

4.3 with a 17% powerup 101 mind with a 33%about 154 with out 1
cost me 17k
on rori and lok killing all sorts of things

Makavelli, since when can they do 46% slices?
As a Master Smuggler, the highest possible slice on a weapon is 35%.
Never heard of a damage slice over 35% myself. I did get a 41% encumberance slice on armor once... or so the ever illusive smuggler says

Sad thing is i am only a 2-0-0-0 in marksman and i can do up to 3200 dmg...
USE COVER!!! .. seems to help like crazy and overcharge shot 1
