Makes sense they would increase our HAM's for getting rid of the 2.5.

CM's are like nukes. You have them just incase you need them, but as soon as you start using yours the other guys start using theirs and everything goes to hell-PyschoticChipmunk -The First line of the Riflenomican.

Muon dos nothing to help your action bar, only mind.

I realize that... I should have elaborated. Using the gun I usually use, which has low action and health costs, and a relatively high mind cost, I was previously able to lose only 100 or so health and action after a good two minutes or so. I wouldn't normally be able to sit and spam conceal shot or flushing shot without draining my mind and forcing me to wait out a normal shot between specials, during which time my health and action would replenish. Now, when I've got a, for all intents and purposes, unlimited supply of mind, I have to stop after two minutes because my action and health bars are depleted (and mind is significantly lower than where it would have previously been).

What specials are people noticing cost more? Do you have actual numbers? Headshot 2 still costs me the same 81 in mind that it has for the last couple weeks. I'm reluctant to think that they changed all of our specials costs without saying a thing.

I noticed the increase on all shots, but primarily in the action and health fields. The mind field hasn't changed as far as I can tell.

Also the removal of the 2.5 melee damage thing doesnt seem to be as helpful as it might have been since they have made all the things that were hard (aka Krayts and others) more challenging so they will 1 hit you without the melee multiplier. Of course since I am a master doc as well as master rifle I am constantly buffed so it seems to hurt me more now that the mind costs are greater, since before The things that were trully challenging to kill while buffed have gotten even harder...

Yes the costs have increased... I used to keep my health & action within 2-5% of the top continously while using concealed shot. I could also take 8+ shots without pausing for a break. Now I get 6 shots and I'm loosing roughly 25% of my Health & Action in the process.

The regeneration rates have not been increased. If they have, then having an 1100 willpower is useless.

This isn't completely a stealth nerf - more of a "we told you so nerf."

Just kind of rude to increase the ham before increasing regeneration...

My cost for concealed shot for the longest time has been "-121" (over my head) the actual loss was more like 110 (following the character sheet.) now the number over my head is -139 ... too bad the Health & Action ones are invisible.

While I'm preaching to the choir - are they going to change stat migration for this nerf? If this is how things are going to work I need to put points back into health & action regeneration... (My last stat migration took a week - !@76!@#8!@#9!9*6187(* edited - LOL *))

Would you care to test out a 400 year old sword to see if it's decayed to condition 0? All the prior testers have no comment. Perhaps a gun which was used in WW I and still fires with high accuracy upto 1km?

If that doesn't get you, then start reading current military specifications for combat equipment.

After EVERY single fight, I will file a bug report for this. I would ask everyone else to do this. When I am truly bored, I'll call their support hotline as well, and I'll fiule some customer tickets.

A bug is something in the game that does not work as intended. Since I did not see any message about this being changed intentionally, it must be a bug, right? So after every shot I take, I will send a bug report. SOE has more than often said they "look into the issues that people scream the loudest about". So let's hear some screaming

I haven't noticed any increases. I use to use ConcealShot and it would cost 88 (floaty number over me when I shot). I used the same rifle yesterday and got the same result.

Just something else to look at. Could it be a problem with the food / spice you are using? Maybe they changed that and it isn't as effective. Resulting in higher HAM costs.

The reason I ask is the 88 HAM cost I had was without any food / spice. I generally don't use them except BoH. Which I didn't test yesterday. In the past with BoH I should be at 46 HAM per shot. I'll try to check this later in the week.
