Hi,

I believe in this patch they fixed Suppression fire in the ranged support line of marksman.

This coupled with flurry shot will have people on there backs.

I use my spraystick for this so if they both hit you can have someone knocked down in 4 seconds.

I would also like to add that Tortur are also great for EXP.

You can go to Talus and find the Tortur. Mainly, you are looking for the Tortur Bulls. The con red for me, and are GIGANTIC. They only have about a 4300 point Mind bar, so you can bleed them out fast. They hang around a Lair with regular Tortur and Meager Tortur. The Bull Tortur are worth 3100 exp, the Tortur is worth 1800 exp, and the Meager Tortur is worth 700 exp.

None of these are hostile in any way, so you can go up and pet them if you like. You should just go out to 60m, go prone, and fire the Mindshot1, Mindshot2, Headshot combo. By the third shot, the Tortur will be runnin after you. They run a little bit faster than you do, so you have to watch out. You should however be able to Headshot it at least 3-4 times before he reaches you. At about 30m, you should use Warningshot to send him away. Keep in mind that the Tortur is faster than you, so follow it closely. Otherwise it will get out of range.

The Tortur also seem to get tired some of the time and slow way down to the point where you can run circles around them. Its at this point where I open up with Headshots to take them down with the quickness.

You also dont need to worry about bleeding a lair dry of creatures. last night, I hit at least 30 creatures around 1 lair, and they were still spawning by the time I needed to logoff for dinner.

The only drawback is that I had some trouble finding them last night. I dont know if this is a direct effect of the new patch, or if it is just my bad luck.

But in any case, you should be able to take one down every 1-1.5 minutes or so. Real easy.

Theres no doubt, that NPCs are the easiest for the rifleman. Atleast upon receiving Flurry 1 or 2. At Master Rifleman, I can clear 30 Rebel NPCs in under 3 minutes. There all mostly blue con to me, with 3k HP. But they moved the base so I dont get that massive FPs anymore.

The 3rd tier scouting trap that snares works well against mobs too I've found.

I can yo-yo red mobs pretty well so long as the trap lands.

errr just to clarify thats the phecnacine dart.

What I've been doing is mindshot 1&2 with my t21then when the mob charges at me I equip a pistol and start tossing darts until one sticks then warning shot with the pistol to get it to run away, switch to my fast laser rifle and hs2 a couple times until its on its way back then warning shot...rinse and repeat. Using this I've been able to make sniper 4 pretty fast killing snorbals on lok.

Tip 11-

Mass buy power ups, power ups are now able to be mass produced of the same kind, find a master artisan, ask them to make you a certain schematic. +32 dmg +16 HAM costs, would be the best, and then have the mass produce you them to get tons of them. Keep them in stock.

Im not quite sure what you mean, but all can reach the same +, but some have a better chance of gettin certain things. I forgot wich one does the +32 dmg, but I have a artidan in the guild, I just ask him for it

The problem is, he's east coast, and cant connect (no power)

Aldeon i guess you havent been on Corbantis server. we prolly have more PvP then Bloodfin....check our boards.... HALO and DF are always at each others throats. As a Sniper with inter conceal and 2 rifle specs so far, i can say im pretty good fo rnot being a master yet. Everyone must remember... RIFLEMEN is a support person. we are not meant to duel.....how many gunmen in the old west dueled with rifles??? In PvP your main objective of a riflemen is to pick away at the minds ofdifferent targets(my HS3can do a 600 dmg thats about 3/4 the avg mind pool of someone)while hiding behind a meat shield of other combat classes. Then using sniper shot to take people out of the action, that is our job.

Idont care what aldeon says about HS3 it is NOT overrated when your rifle does 205-565 dmg sliced without any powerups(205-765 powered up). if you ambush someone out in the open its like hunting a dear because everyone always makes the mistake of trying to run away from us and mindshot2&1 coupled with2 HS3........ youcan have anice walk to there incapped body. And Tip 7 is false. it doesnt matter how far you fall on the condition rating. i had a T21 at 628/1000 condition so i gave it to a master weapon smith in my guild andshe broke it.My friend fixed his own launcher pistol with a condition of 123/1000 back up to 960/960 and he is not even a smith. But anyways everyone has their own strategies and i trade in power for speed and since no one wears armor the T21 handles everyone nicely.
