Is it just our server or the limit for all servers?

Server limit.

Starsider has some 37%'s and 38%'s.

Its dependent on resources.. not a hard cap, but Stun will never get as high as the other resists because its not a resist that composite has... also its not able to be sliced because it will always be a special protection.

I always have problems fighting bounty hunters. Ima master rifleman and master doc. They always seem to eyeshot me and i get blinded and either cant shoot or miss alot. Anyone have a solution for this?

I am thinking since im a master doc to make some blind packs. But i hear eyeshot just randomly blinds people on shots.

Eyeshot is supposed to blind every time. but due to defenses/random number generators it blinds sporadically.

Theoretical limit to stun protection is 45%, as the theoretical maximum layer is 15%.

You should have no problem outdamaging them in a straight headshot-eyeshot battle.

Since accuracy is your problem, make sure you have a weapon build for accuracy, and use accuracy powerups. If your hitting regularly and wear a 80% acid helm it would be hard for you to loose.

The thing as a rifle doc you have to fear is the KD/Dizzy, not eyeshot really.

Wow, thanks for all that great advice everyone.

To summarise, this is what I plan to do:

1. Make loads of creds to buy an 80% acid, heat and energy resist helm

2. Migrate mind stats to 1100

3. Buy the uberest sliced jawa I can find

4. Continue using muon and BOH, but also have a look at glucose pate and fishak

5. Stick to mainly headshots when fighting someone buffed in full composite.

6. Im also going to try and macro 2 x Flurry2 shots (for a dizzy effect) followed by 2 x Suppression shots to see if I get a KD out of it.

Things that I will find difficult to do:

i] We were being raided in this instance so it's hard to slap on musician and dancer buffs. I could do it if we were raiding someone else.

ii] Mindshots (bleeds) wouldn't have worked against this guy because he dropped me before the first tick would have hit. Unless I bled him then burst run behind cover..maybe I'll give that a try but Im not used to running away. Plus he had a mind buff so it would have taken ages to bleed him.

If anyone else has something to add please go for it!

Thanks everyone, tylastar.

add maintaining optimum ranges and accuracy to your list and yougot yourself a plan. (i wouldn't worry so much about the surpression though, the dizzy would be enough and in my experience the KD never really works)

I didn't see this asked anywhere else, but you say you had dropped a muon before the battle then put on your helmet. Is is possible that with all your armor on your focus and willpower were below 800? If this is the case he probably didn't kill you with eye shot so much as you killed yourself with Strafe2. I tested it, and at 650 650 focus and willpower and a T21 spamming Strafe2 I can completely deplete my mind in 8 seconds .

Muon can make it so that you can spam a lot more with the T21, but if your armor negates the muon's added focus and willpower stats you are still your own worst enemy. Luckily a Jawa rifle will help in this situation too since its lower ham costs mean you can shoot more and not lose your mind.

A BH spamming eyeshot should be a priority target, but you should win that battle more often than not since the eyeshot nerf, especially with a composite helmet that is layered correctly.

Keep in mind he could have been using a tangle pistol to spam eyeshot as well, making that helmet you were wearing absolutely useless.

well, id start with some muon, vegeparsine and boh for food/drink/spice

start with a t21/laser, mindshot 1 and 2, switch to jawa, and hs2/hs3 till he drops, hten snipershot him

there was a patch that reduced it to 90% but there is still some old armor around with 99% defense to eveyrthing.

Wrap your mind around that for a while.
