With 1100 focus and master rifleman, you can get pretty unbeatable.

With musician buffs that's 2200 focus, so you can put on your fullarmor and not worry about your mind at all unless its getting attacked. Even ifthe poolgets attacked, you can keep stuff handy in your toolbar such as glazed glucose (you can eat two at once), fishak, and muon gold and get well over 3k mind. If you pair up all that mind power with some good medic skills such at 4/0/4/0 you can heal yourself all the way with 1 stim and not use any mind doing it.

Personally, I believe Humans are working as intended and the Devs are slacking (granted wayyyy too much) on making the other races's stats balanced with Humans'. Of course, I could be way off.../shrug

from what i heard zabraks were supposed to have the best willpower but human beats them by 200

Zabraks are supposed to be a very strong willed race, which is shown by our high minimum willpower (700) but why would they cap that at 900 which is what 200 points less than a humans max? Doesn't make a whole lot of sense, but when I read that the zabrak is supposed to have some of the highest willpower, that's why I picked them. Sure that wouldn't be such a bad thing though if I could migrate my focus higher than 500 Grrrr

Humans stats are bugged. they wernt always like this. i personally was overjoyed when this bug happened becasue we could go beyond our then max of 800 if i remember right.

Zabrak make for pretty good riflemen, Your mind stats max at 1000 mind, 500 focus, and 900 willpower. Not the best focus, but mind regens very very fast at 900.

Liquid,

I am a Rodian Master Rifleman, and I dabble a liitle in several other professions right now. Was it hard to become a master? Honestly, I don't know what it is like to play other races so I can't answer that.

IMO to play a non-human race is part of the challenge/fun of the whole game. I know that I can't barge into the middle of a Rancor Nest and spam flushing shot 2 and live to tell about it, but If I play smart and take my time, I'll clear the lair in time. I also can't be in the front line of a PvP faction raid, I have to stay towards the rear of the pack, but at the same time I can clear a Faction NPC stronghold with a fair amount of ease while soloing.

I do use food often, & I have never used spice (except to try it once, but I didn't swallow). When I have time I get buffed by both a dancer & a musician.

Sorry to be so long winded, but my point is this: play the character you want to play being the race you want to be, instead of asking "can I", tell yourself "I will".

i chose rodian coz after a week of playing human i looked the same as everyone else, but now after playing over a month of rodian, and about a week of master rifleman/cm ive decided to change to a better race, i play for pvp and to become as good as possible. now as a rodian, fair enough i kick ass with 500/550 focus/willpower. but as a human i can have 1100/1100/500 !!!! i know that might be only 400 hp/action but what does that matter? my alt is a master doc, i can just be buffed all the time.

Bothan all the way...just max your focus and use breath of heaven and fried ice cream and you will have no troubles. As for not being able to wear armor, I'd suggest buying another suite and get it sliced for encumberance as I can wear and entire suite that takes about 350 enc across the board. However since you are a rifleman, you should need no armor seeing as how we have conceal shot.

Ya, I made the same brilliant descision to be a rodian rifleman. It's killing me that Im going to have to re-roll another class. Our mind stats are so bad Ive got to be jacked up on food/spices all the time and still I run out of mind. Im hoping the new HAM system will fix this soon.
