Thread: Rifle Damage Types

The Nightsister Elder in one of the caves on dath has AP3 and 100% resist to all rifle damage types. Even a new AP system won't help you there.

Disagree, blast should only be for Commandos IMO, blowing up stuff is what they do after all.

I do think tusken should be kinetic. (New gun is acid so don't care about spraystick anymore.)

powerhammer is also blast, and well, is expected of it, but well, when it hits, it sounds like a sword... no sense made here

True but I feel we already step on Commandos toes enough having AP3, giving us a non use based AP3 blast weapon would turn riflemen into THE turret / AT-ST killer, something I really don't think we should be the best at.

**edit** those n00bs! haha. Blast is for boom. T21s have big **edit**in boom.

Or they could make the T-21 what it should be (in my opinion) and move it up to a higher box while giving it Blast dmg. (at this point, I say heck with worrying aboutDevs getting it back toits 'pre-nerf' status)

That thing is going to be as rare as the current nightsister loot-schematic lances and won't be an option for 99% of the playerbase.

looking at the stats of the new gun its pretty useless looking to me.

i would think something lootable or reward based to change the damage types of weapons for use in the add-on spot in a schematic would be nice. loot enough items and you could get T21 to cover all the damage types.

But I encountered a nightsider like this, Mindshot 1,2 and then ran around till she bled empty...then put weapon away and ran up and punched her, lol. And I have zero brawler skills. It was kind of ludicrous, but kind of funny.

SORRY, but I'm a master weaponsmith, just barely dropped pistoleer/carbines I'm not 100% positive, but isn't the e11 rifle heat damage? doesn't that do something against a nightsister if it's got only 15% resist to heat?

IIRC only the E11 carbine is heat. All rifles currently on live servers are energy, stun, or cold (which is pretty useless becauseSG82 has no armor piercing).
