I use my Laser Rifle.

Its max damage is 480, while my T-21 does a measly 380!

I thought T-21's were meant to do more damage than Laser Rifle's!

If you will read what I said above, because of the difference in armor piercing, the T21 will get 25% more damage than the Laser. That makes your "measly" T21 the equivalent of a 475 Laser.Five points max is not much difference. However, since your T21 has probably twice to three times the minimum damage, that means that the average damage for the T21 is much higher, you will not get the miserable lows you can get with the Laser, and the T21 will be less affected by damage mitigation because of its tighter range.

This one will definitely out damage your Laser. But watch the floatynumbers, not the combat log. The combat log does not take into account armor and resistences.

funny thing happend with t21...when in the battle yesterday I tried to take down a CH's rancor with strafe2....during those shots I shot his master and 2 of his friends incap too O.o ...the thing is apretty heavy damage dealer

Since I just got a T21, I have already noticed the lack of low dmg hitsthat laser sometimes does due to its low min dmg. Also find it hits for over 1500+ a lot more often than laser so Iprefer the T21> laser

well i have a damaged sliced laser rifleand with a power up i can get over 3.5k damge with it, never did that much with a t21.
