tantel has resists to all. granted theyre only 27% or so, a good slice could put it up in comp territory. also there are stun layers that can be crafted into composite and ubese. people have the resources to have the resistances to it, but they want their uber 70% resist composite armor that everyone and their mom has. everything has a weakness or should have. If they have complaints send them to get RIS armor or something.

Look at the big picture. The problem isn't Rifleman, it's the game mechanics that Rifleman can take advantage of. Which professions are considered powerful... BH/Pistoleer dabblers? Fast mind damage with stun. CMs? Mind damage that ignores armor and always hits.Rifleman? Fast mind damage with stun.

Fix the game mechanics and then see which professions are really unbalanced vs. filling a niche in a broken combat system. Hopefully that's what they're doing right now.

Your proposal for a nerf that's masked with an "alternative" label would just make defense templates completely indestructable. Without the stun vulnerability, how exactly would you kill someone with all 9 stats buffed and 90% effectiveness armor? PvP will become a game of waiting for the other guy's buffs to run out because no one will be able to do enough damage to defeat regen rates.. Doesn't that sound fun!

Of course the Jedi players would love this.. no need to worry about bounty hunters when you're immune to damage.

i was a rifleman, back when there were no good rifles. and i have no problems with rifle men in pvp (except that **edit** 64m DB, but that is a whole nother story) riflemen are balanced in pvp and i hope you dont get nerfed in that sense. anyone can take a rifleman if they are not 40+m away from him.

the real thing that i think needs to be nerfed is the thing where you guys go prone and shoot at krayts and kimos and other 50k+ ham things and you guys are doing conceal shot and whatever else you guys do... maybe if that conceal shot gave you 10 seconds of not being hit, but i cant stand watching some rifleman just lay there and not have to worry about a thing (unless i get them agroed

NERF CONCEAL SHOT!! (dont give me that crap that it shouldnt be nerfed, because you know it is wrong)

but i doubt that the devs will nerf you at all. i just have a good feeling about it, that these next few changes will really bump you and then you guys will be way too good and then after that, you will be nerfed to chef status.
