Also, do different foods have different "fillings"? Meaning, can I eat 4 of every food? Or are there food that fill me 20%, and food that fill me 40%? Or foods that have a different "durability" in terms of preventing more food?

Or if they are all the same, what are the numbers? Maximum of x foods and they (not the effect, but the "filling") last for y minutes?

sounds like an excuse to have an old fashioned style eating contest tbh - rifleman style.. wow we really are turning into the 'redneck hick' class

Just tested and food will stack with itself as well. I just ate Ryshcate (+324str for 306s, +319 quick for 310s, +209 focus for 302s) and I did get double the effect.

With my armor on, 2 of this food and 1 Breath of Heave consumed I have over 1k str, quick, focus.

Breath of Heaven, 2 Ryshcate, and a munon gold means nothing you spam can dent your mind pool.

high focus = less penalty on your mind to do your specials = more strafeshots to spam

I don't even use the muon, just the BoH and 2 Ry, with armor on I'm only using about 20 mind a shot, without armor I'm not drainign any pool whiel spamming strafe 2. But if I'm goign to be aroudn a large group of mobs, liek the verious dungeons I'll have a muon ready for when those food buffs wear off and I'm too full to eat/drink anymore. then pop the moun if need be.

i personally use Breath of heaven, which from a chef friend has 16 uses and +600 focus, and vercupti, which adds 450willpower and 5 uses. this really helps, add muon on top of that and you use 5 mind per shot

1 breath of heaven and 2 rystache's = free ham costs for anything. Burst run, heals, any special attack, all free

i think willpower foods are more important then the ryschcates(sp =P), simply because i rarely just need the foods for only a minute, when im in battle its usually a long battle(krayts, PvE, large PvP), so i like being able to boost my regen rate on my mind significantly.

With BoH and Muon, your pretty much set... even me a Trando can spam shots hehe....

Sad to say, I dropped rifleman right after the patch....then I tried the food and the bug was fixed(used to use the food and after it was done working, my stats went through the floor... 30mins to replenish my mind pool cause my willpower was perma stuck at 100)

I'll get rifleman back when I feel I've explored some other professions, but I'll always miss rifleman. Even though we are called snipers/sharpshooters, and we area attack(not that AoE attacks suck or anything). How many times have you seen a sniper shoot multiple targets in 1 shot? hehe...

Well in a straight line you can line up a few targets for a head shot lol.

I've actually noticed lately that as long as I stay away from the Muon Gold I do a better job of clearing out different lairs... What do I use instead?

Ruby Bliels - Works on Mind Focus and Willpower, though not as powerful, it doesn't have the nasty downer in five minutes.

Muon Gold is my very very VERY last resort, I don't use one unless I'm out of RB's and I'm close to cleaning house on a number of targets.

This is excellent info. Any volunteers who would make a writeup of this so we can include it in the FAQ under "All you ever wanted to know about food and drinks?".

I thought about something like this:

FOOD/DRINKS

Intro: What they are, what the benefits are
Usage: How they work, buffs, fulltime, duration, uses
List of food/drinks: List them. If we could get a rough estimate in price, that would also be nice
How to get: mention search function / vendor search on planet map
Tips / Tricks: Good combination of foods/drinks, hotkey tips, stacking with other buffs, using timers to keep track of buffs
Bugs / issues: If there are any bugs affecting food/drinks. Maybe mention that some foods are gated by availability of milk
Links: Link to this thread for discussion, to Chef board, to any food FAQ that may exist

Anyone wants to start on this?
