Does conseal shot damage a particular pool? I keep hearing how this is so awesome but i have not gotten to use it yet.

Can I bleed the creature and then use conseal shot? Or whats the deal..why is this such a good skill?

Thanks

I don't knowabout the what pool concel shot does.

AOE is an area of effect. If yoy have a chance of applying a status effect(stun, blind, dizzy, bleed, etc. It depends on special)on an area of enemies.

AP is armor preicing. Example

If target has a Armor Rating 0(AR0) and you shoot with t21 which has a AP3 rating you get a small bonus like 50% damage more- resists. AP also works in the reverse way. If your target has AR3 and you Gun has AP0 then you damage with be 50% damage less- resists. Again those are rough %. I can't find it but there is a math formula for it.

X3.0 for conceal shot. Refer to the rifleman FAQ. It has a lot of stuff in it about damage and delays.

Conceal shot allows you to shoot an NPC or Mob and not be detected. If you have mask scent from scout you can conceal shot creatures all day with out them attacking you (but itmight take you all day to kill something with it).

It is a random pool attack, it does not target a specific pool.

Get conceal shot ASAP you can solo red cons with it no problem. Just /prone /maskscent /aim /concealshot from 60m out.

Just read your sig. As a TKM you prolly won't need to use conceal shot since you can tank once the mob agros on you. Conceal shot is more for riflement who have no melee skills and need to aviod agro at all costs.

I'd suggest you get the first line with the accuracy mods and the headshots first.

Delay would be, as you alluded to, a period of time in which your enemy cannot attack just like warcry. I have not noticed a delay effect when using Strafeshot2. It may be that they have to be in cover for the shot to clear them from cover and delay them. Someone else would have to expand on this.

You cannot use bleeds effectively with Concealshot. Yes, you could apply bleeds then start using Concealshot, but basically, Concealshot only protects you from having the creature aggro on you as a result of the Concealshot itself. It will not protect you if you are detected by some other means, such as if the creature wanders too close or you miss twice. With bleeds, you will usually not be detected on the initial shot (especially if you are prone and more than 40m away). But the initial shot does not cause damage and only records the bleed size and starts the timer. Besides, under those circumstances, you usually get two or three free shots even without Concealshot. However, twenty seconds later when the bleed hits, the creature will aggro on you. Concealshot cannot stop that. You will have been detected for a reason other than the fact that you shot Concealshot.

The delay in the FAQ refers to how long it takes for you to re-fire your gun. If you had 0 speed mod and shot strafe 2 with a gun with a speed of 7, it would take you 24.5 seconds to shoot again...

AoEis area of effect, and you may also seeAE,or area effect, which means the same thing. The terms meanthat the shot itself will damage multiple targets. If the shot has status effects (stun, dizzy, etc.), each target has a chance of receiving this status effect as well (i.e., Flurryshot2 may dizzy a whole group of enemies). When you first shoot an AE shot, the targeted creature will be the only target damaged. If the target is social (BAF - bring a friend) and its friends aggro on you as a result of the attack, they too will be damaged by the shot if they are in its zone of effect. All of our shots are cone shaped (a 45 degree wedge between you and the target with you at the pointy end). Each hit is evaluated individually, so you may cause more damage to one target than another within the zone, and you may miss some targets and hit others.

Ooops, never mind, wasn't reading which delay they were talking about.

Yes strafe 2 can delay like warcry and such, but only if your target is under cover (and how many people take cover in PvP, never seen and NPC take cover)
