What are your opinions on getting a stock on your t21?

As a novice, I'd get one. At a master, however, HAM costs are the big issue (for now), so I'd skip the stock.

I have one with a stock, just found some +30% Damage -15% mind cost. I love these things. Mind isn't really an issuse with them, and you get the extra damage.

How much damage does a stock normally add?

Are there other options that can be added toa t21 to get the damage up a bit higher?

I believe it has to be added to the rifle at the time of construction.

Stocks are added to rifles when they are constructed by the WS.

Right now they have buggy experimentation and only give +40 max damage no matter what resources used. They use lots of extra HAM but if your a Buff junkie like me that means nothing to you.

I'd go with the Stock and run around with buffs 24-7 if I were you.

Stocks=more damage=good. High focus will take the inevitably high HAM way down too

I have a rifle for every occasion.

I have my elephant gun with +60 krayt tissue, a rifle stock +40 and a 35% damage slice. 800 damage T21 with a powerup.

I also have my machine gun which is a T21 with exceptional speed tissue and a 30% speed slice.

I have many other things inbetween but I must say that I will take my elephant gun in almost any situation. However,I only use it in pvp. The more one hit kills the better.

HAM costs are a non issue. There is this profession called chef. Zero ham costs with the right foods. Breath of heaven and 2 ryschates unbuffed or a breath of heaven and 2 glazed glucose when buffed.

Speed will eventually be more of an issue as changes occur to our profession. That is pure speculation on my part.

So my answer for now is stocked all day.

Yeah, I don't think the question is to have a stock or not, it's how many you want with stock and how many you don't, heh.

I have at least 2 of every rifle. I have several T-21's some with stocks some without. They are for different occasions.

But yeah with a stock you can get some damage. Mine is 91 mind cost but sliced and with a powerup does 650 damage (The powerup gets the mind costdown to 77). Also great for autofire as was mentioned.
