Thread: lower lever rifleman how to take on quenkers.
Sounds to me like you are missing the Quenkers LOLOLOL.
All kidding aside, what happened is that they nerfed the bleed DOT, so now what you may have to do is conceal shoot them until one remains then just lay into that one. Or dot them all, maybe drive around / burst run kiting them with head shots.
What you need to do is have a fast Spraystick on your toolbar, have Ranged support 3 for warning shot,\Peace in your toolbar, and have a macro for equiping armor on your toolbar.
Ok with all that go prone 60-64 meters from target, take your 2 to 3 headshots, stand up, hit your spraystick, armor, warningshot, then wait for warningshot to shoot, hit peace. Have your combat window open and make sure warningshot hits, if not keep warningshot then peacing out until it hits and the quenker runs away.
If both come at you, warningshot one away, then the other. Go to kneeling headshot, rinse and repeat.

Yeah....if he has a group. If you have a group that hunts.......then this is a good solution. But if you are soloing......well, quenkers are the way to go. But.....sad to say for you its a bit tougher now that the bleed stacking and Bleed damage amount has been nerfed.
im a zabrak and my stats are
1000/300/300/1000/300/300/1000/500/700
with mychitin armor my substats go to 1000/30/30/1000/30/30/1000/200/400
so as you see without constant buffs using comp is out of the question and im guessing so is ubese..
nope.....get some Vasarian Brandy or a quick fix of moun Gold and youll be fine (if you wanna be rifleman....YOU HAVE TO GET THIS STUFF, if not stop rifle now).... You dont even need to wear all of it.... Pants...Chest, and gloves or even bracers will be fine....it will reduce the hits plenty well.
Remeber no helmet....the moun or Vasarian brandy are enough for the mind....you wont need helmet. Just take your time between spawns...and or lairs.... heal up if need be.

there are a couple of decent methods and involve taking up skills in other trees for soloing without using concealshot.
one really good method is scout trapping4 using adhesive mesh traps. this takes a lot of coordination and can get stupid rather fast if you mess up and target the same Q twice or miss a lot.
another method is to get the slowest rifle u can find and fire warning shots and scare off all but one switch to a faster rifle and just kill that one. repeat for the rest of the Q remaining.
yet another method is to get doctor stat increases or become a doc and do em yourself and just take the pounding.
another method is to buy a BE pet with relatively high HAm and just tank the things with a level10 pet.
another method is to buy 4 probe droids with medium armour and 40% resists and rotate them with a CL10 BE pet.
one last tip always start firing at 64 meters from a kneeling postion not prone and once it closes to 40 meters start standing up to train him. nine out of ten the single quenker will die before he gets to you. supposedly rifleusers can pull a single monster from beyound 50m but i have never observed or had it work. not sure if it is really true or not. prone IS the best for accuracy but it also takes the longest to get to a standing position. prone also has the same modifier to regen as standing. kneeling offers the best mix of accuracy speed and regen.
another metod i like to use is what i call mounted calvery. it is where i grab my T21 and my dewback and just ride around the critter while it stumbles up and down terrain changes. doing this you can just autofire most things to death without them ever touching you. even on foot with scout terrain negotiation4 you can outrun a rancor when there are hills nearby making the things death merely a matter of time. all of this applies to Q as well altho they are a little faster than rancors.
