Thread: a master carbineers perspective on pistoleer, RIFLEMAN and carbineer.
(disclaimer:this ALL would be if they increased range on turrets to 200m and weapon range to 130m and pistol range to 100m, and also my idea's would greatly increase the usefullness of kneeling and prone.

Prone give 2.5-3 times more damage?
Your Idea's would make us more of a defensive profession because we would have to setup and we would be basically imobile. When I say defensive I mean as in we are defenders of a position, I'm not to sure about this being that most PVP is very mobile. Now if PVP were more dynamic and feild position ment something I can go with this idea, but in a 64m world I don't think this can happen.
Not bad ideas, but for a stationary profession to work we need to
A) Slow movement down
OR
B) Increase Range And I'm saying like 138m.Not that only rifles get 138m mind you, all weapons can have it, it's just to increase the area of combat.

rifleman--supporters of main infantry, best at kneeling, terrible accuracy wile standing and 70% chance tto miss at point blank. horibly high damage. and great for long range sniping. if your a mellee, you will probably die long befor you reach 30 meters. slow. but pretty good defences. add a new gun, a heavy repeater machine blaster that can only be equiped and used WHILE kneeling. at master, and prone trhey have a 90% chance to hit you.to further the reason for them to stay "behind the main line" would be they have a 2.5-3x damage multiplier.
carbineer--alround main fighters. good on there own, but best with support of rifleman. good defences and very good DPS. main grunts of combat. good standing very good kneeling. medium accuracy. fastest fireing class. but rifleman have greater damage output and greater accuracy. while pistoleers have much much higher defences. alround best for combat. but lacking in areas that rifleman succeed in. 60% of the accuracy of rifleman 50% the defences of pistoleers. and 5x the pistoleers damage output, 75% the riflemans dam,age output.THIS IS MY OPPINION on what things should be.

Actually the riflemen would be better suited as the main fighters instead while carbineers would be more like special forces. Besides riflemen outnumber carbineers badly atm.
