Thread: New Master Rifleman on Gorath
Welcome folks and my beloved community - There's a new Master Rifleman (Master Sharpshooter it's called, i know, but i don't like that title so much), and its .... ME !! *beeingextremelyhappy*
It took me 2 month of work, but in the end i made it yesterday night.
I never used MuonGold, and i used a pet just once (for trying it out for some hours, but got bored of it)...
I want to thank all rifleman here in the community that really helped me out with tips, advices and motivation (guys like VolstedGridban, Selfyn and all the others).
I also want to thank the few rifleman that teached me on my way and gave good advices and tips too.
I was disapointed thet i could not find a rifleman to train me the last 2 skills and the master title itself, so i had to pay about 34000 credits to an NPC-Trainer for that (made screenies of this glorious moment anyway).
Now i really havt to say: everything the master riflemen here said is true - it's a really long way to get master, but once you made it it's awesome great, it's really worth it !!!
If anyone is going to get master rifleman too, feel free to put me in your friends-list (ingame-name is GELLAY too), so i can teach needed skills or help every other way that is possible to me - i know there arent many of us...

Congrats from a Gorath rifleman. I'm just 2-1-3-1 atm, so I may be harrassing you for training!
and sorry if I knew you had been going for master I would have looked you up to teach you. Well anyways, you'll be able to make up that 34k in no time.

Sure, just send a /tell :-) I'll be on Correlia most of the next time, but i have no problem flying around the galaxy for helping a rifleman-friend :-)

Most of my grinding-time i spent on Yavin4, because:
1: most of the critters there won't DeathBlow
2: there are many critters running around, so you dont have to walk long distances just to find them, normaly you have 2-4 lairs around you in 128m, often more than that
3: you can lie down and keep hammering /aim;/aim;/aim;/concealshot; macro and kill all the giant-critters for 4000+ XP or most of the normal ones for 2000-3000+ XP (the amount /aim; command are just to get a little time to regen mind betwenn the shots, so you can take out 2-3 critters without the need of regen-pauses, just hammering the macro, take a cup of coffe or continue eating your pizza, watch and enjoy)
4: If you have a friend with a tank-pet, just send it directly onto the lair and spam /flushingshot2; = 10k XP in 3 minutes

You're right, once gotten master (and before too) i would love to be able to get more than just 2 missions, but with enough time money is really no matter anymore. The only thing i fear now is the second spawn of a lair (when you shot the lair down to something about 50%-65%) because it's hard to time the /peace; before 2 critters instantly spawn and aggro you. but without this it would be boring, so IMO it's a good thing :-)

Yup, i could never imagine to see my mind go from 1100 to 0 in 15 secs, unbelievable (but in this 15 secs everything in your view will be dead, *hehe*).

Grats fellow Master! Welcome to the club.I have pamphlets for the Betty Ford clinic when you decide you need them.... Maybe we can hire a bunch of entertainers and open our own rehab clinic in some idyllic spot to help others through their withdrawls. I agree Master Rifleman would be a better title, but (Spice Fiend) is probably closer to the truth.
It is nice to see all the new Riflemen on Gorath, I think the secret is out (or the Holocrons are driving people to us 
This class has gotten a whole lot better in the past few weeks. SS2 and ConcealShot are crazy, I have basically put my GSP on guard, never use him anymore...might be time to put the tanks to rest and use the points elsewhere.

Congrats!!! I agree with Nhzuksince all of us Master Riffleman are drug addicts...how can u live without moun gold at master level i dunno...lol...spice heads all the way baby...

I didn't use MuonGold till Master, but now at master i use it quite often when hunting big critters or hard NPCs (mostly in groups).
As Non-Master didn't need that much, as my speed was so crappy that i could regen enough between the shots.
I dont't like to spend my Muon for "normal hunting", just for special fights (the downer after is really hard and frustrating 3 minutes *g*).
Used MuonGold on Krayt-Hunt the first time yesterday - took me something about 60-90 seconds to eat his complete mind-bar - after that i had to stop playing and started to cry *happy* (well, there are rumors that after next patch Krayts will have 300k instead of 30k HAM, what's IMO a good change as it has gotten too easy).
Yeah, we rifleman seem to be the real bad guyz in the galaxy: S*x, drugs (muon, BoH) and rock'n'roll (sitting in cantina and getting mind-buffs), hehe.
Maybe after the next patch we should all get speeders, leather-jackets and some rifleman-tatoos to show that we are the real ROCKERS *g* /BornToBeWild;

i found the secret, just as i was grinding my last 90k xp or so for counter-sniping 4... one word. quenkers.
as a 4/4/3/4 rifleman, i was getting 2k xp from a 4.5k HAM quenker.
it's easy. go to a mission terminal on, say, dantooine, and grab some quenker missions. concealshot the 5 or so at the mission, shoot the lair for a split second, rinse and repeat.
oh man, i had such a fun time struggling along in the early days with my dlt20a, but i prefer the quenkers + t21 + muon gold equation much better....
ahhhhhhh good times.if you need training on Gorath, let me know. i'll see what i can do!
