Thread: Sorry guys, Rifleman needs a nerf.

I was a rifleman before the "beef up rifleman" patch and after.


We got way to powerful. So much accuracy that you can run around at 10m without worries of missing. So much ranged defence and block.. agh. No other ranged class gets so much ranged AND melee defence. Rifleman needs to lose some accuracy and that +40 melee defence. Ohh.. and nerf the Jawa a little bit.

I a TKM withADV comp.. 58% energy, with buffs and spice, and food was


at 4k Health, and Master rifleman just ADV strafed me from about 30m, while burst running, shot and hit me times in a row and killed me. Then to wrap it up a ranged DB.. way too overpowered rifleman are.


He hit me everytime he shot 3 times.../sigh

Yeah. And on top of their crazy accuracy, they get the best stun damage in the game. They also get the best defences in the game. /hmmmm.


I thought there was suppose to be a trade off for doing mind damage.

not to mention he lost only a small fraction on his mind ( wasnt using spice or breathof haven), and litte health/action

I was KD'd then delayed by a smuggler and they killed me, please nerf them because they are stronger than Sharpshooters who need a nerf.


Would ask for master BH's but they are a full combat class and use so many dam skill points.

Yet nerf the smuggler who ALSO spends more skill points then you...who also gets no speed/accuracy mods, hmm, pure genious...

Smugglers are half combat half crafter, they are not full combat professions, and my nerf was sarcastic.


It's all realative, Carbineers kick my ass also.


A Master Sharpshooter can be killed by a Smuggler, MBH, and Carbineer. If we are so uber why can these professions constantly kill us.

Xytron, why must you poison the riflemen boards with your hatred towards us? Go knockdown a rancor and beat it up with your red fists or something.

A smuggler also gains other abilities, other than simply fighting very well with pistols.

Well lets see...


You fought a master rifleman... and you lost. Big deal. Grow up. He isnt a master because he wats to get beaten by a TKA. You being the tka should know better. TKM is way more overpowered than master rifleman. That is because it is "balanced" i guess. Im a tkm too btw. Just because you beat every other combat profession out there, then lose to a master rifleman doesnt give you the right to call nerf.


How about pistoleer using stopping shot with the stun pistol and hitting for outrageous numbers (i was master pistoleer- im guilty too). Or what about smugglers bein the most dabbled profession.


Dont call for nerfs, ask for balance. it is known that the combat system is getting revamped. Hold your bitching and moaning til after it is done.

Ya, and have the rancor stay down for 2 seconds....and a smuggler does not fight well with pistols, they can't spam anything let alone hit a one second speed cap...but if they take up some pistoleer, then that's a different story... as we all want, we want mod stacking eliminated.

LMFAOLOLOLOLOL right, we're sooooooooooooooooo much more overpowered then riflemen, lol, **edit**, what do you consider power? A riflemen in PvP hitting for 7000 compared to a TK hitting for 3000 hmmm, a riflemen with insanely powerful bleeds compared to a TKs no bleeds hmmm, we both spam every second, we can self boost but a riflemen can DB people from 64m away hmm...a riflemen at master never misses anything (unless you're facing one of those mod stacking people)....now lets see, PvP, I can hit for 350 at the most (with VKs, against any person with a gun, and unarmored) but a riflemen can shoot for at least 600 (against a fellow ranged user with mit3 and wearing full armor) and the riflemen can hit for well over 1000 against meleers (even in full armor)....ya, man, us TKs are sooooo much more powerful, phew, I gotta stop being so overpowered or I might hurt someone...

I hit 400 a shot in PVP spamming Strafe Shot 2, Pistoleers hit 100 per shot, Carbineers fall inbetween both.


Pistoleers have 50 KD defence, Carbineers have 15 KD defence(Might be 10), we have 0.


Carbineers have ranged KD, for 49 SP pistoleers can get a ranged KD + delay, we only have DD.


Where do you see that we are overpowered?
