This thread has been created to consolidate the problems people have faced now that their election has triggered.

If you experienced a problem, ie something didn't happen that should have. Please, mayors/ex-mayors only and do not uses this thread for conversation.

1) City emailed me stating it would grow, but remains an outpost

2) 1,900 Xp for 20 Citizen Vote.

Brief description of problem:

City upgraded to village ok, but I gained 0 Politician Experience. I was the only person running, and at least half of my citizens voted for me, although the terminal sure makes it sound like I would, by default, receive all votes since noone else was running.

12 hours later, I still have 0 XP, and I am watching all the other cities on my planet spring up on the map. I am hoping to see at least 2200 xp by the time I log back in... here's praying this makes it happen. CSR ticket sure seems futile.

Brief description of problem: Not a problem but I was informed that Register City was for City Rank 3 or above. This morning I was able to register the city after we were upgraded to Village. Just wanted to make sure it was not a bug

Problem

Placing a mission terminal on the map is as good as registering your city on the map. This could be a godsend for some but a downfall for others. Anyone wanting to remain in isolation until a predetermined time later in the the city development, has been screwed, by this oversight.

here's the scenario for my election:

I had another guild member taking the reigns of the city, so everyone was supposed to vote for him

We had 22 folks at election time, and one goofball forgot to vote for him (thus a default vote for me)...he got his XP, but I didn't get my piddly 100XP

Now, It doesn't bother me much, since I'm dropping politician, but if the losers never get any XP, we truly will havethe same folksrunning the cities...no-one would vote for the guy that never has any Politician XP!

As of 12pm EST this was still true...no XP for me...At least our new Mayor got his!

I'm going to file this on behalf of our mayor, because we were talking about it in Guild Chat:

I'm just assuming the email part of number 1, but the city did remain an outpost. A Master Dancer who lives there was quite upset that she couldn't place a Cantina yet.

Brief description of problem: Email message stated that city had been promoted to village. City remains an outpost in all respects. 41 Citizens.

Brief description of problem:

1) 28 citizens, 2700 xps

2) With zoning turned on, Militia cannot place anything, nor are they able togrant themselves zoning rights. Don't know about other Militia commands yet.

3) Got an email saying a structure was added, owned by Edwina. Edwina got an email saying the structure was added to the city. Yet Edwina is not counted as being a citizen (yes, Edwina tried to declare residency--was told she was already a resident). This structure is our PA, and I'd *really* not want to pack up the junk inside to move it. Edwina placed a small Naboo house andset her residency there in the attempt to reset her residency (haven't been able to declare residency on the PA again yet...was told I had to wait 24 hours).
