Last night our city placed it's Cantina but unfortunately when it was placed it was facing the wrong way. Now according to everything we had read we assumed that the deed could be reclaimed like any other building. Well, the owner went to destroy structure so the new Redeed Windows would come up and tell her how much she had to place in the maint. to redeed it. She clicks on Destroy Structure once and poof, it's gone. No window, no code to place in like on every other structure in the game now. Just gone.

This isnt a thread to complain, we got another one built in minutes and got it down facing the right direction, this is just a warning for those who have not placed one yet.

BTW, the cantinas are very nice and we are loving ours.

You need to add maint before re-deeding.

I got a confirm screen when I picked up and rotated mine last night. No problems.

Well I havent laid a cantina down yet,

But I have dropped many a structure.

Rule 1: Always figure out which end is the door before you drop the structure

Rule 2: ALWAYS! pay maintanence once you drop.( this is the only thing saving your structure)

Rule 3: Refer to 1 and 2

If you follow these steps, 99% of them time you wont lose your structure.

The following could have been in that 1 % but make sure you follow these rules before doing anything else when dropping a structure.

I totally agree, perhaps I misread the first post but it sounds like they hit destroy structure just once and *poof* no screen telling them they need x credits to redeed etc. If that is true, that is terrible. As I said some people have macros of /destroystructure for harvester runs. If that gets hit accidentally near a city structure that can't be redeeded - city hall for example - then it would just poof?

Can you guys tell me exactly how many lots the cantina places? I've read 7, but wasn't sure...if so I need to clear up a bunch of lots

Also, I know a Master Dancer/Musician/Chef can place it, but what happens if they LOSE their Master status? Does the cantina Poof, or is it now part of the city, and doesn't matter?

Okay, just to clear up any misconceptions.

1. I put down a cantina with my politician.

2. Put money into the maintenance (5000) and 2500 is required to redeed it.

3. It was redeeded and in my inventory now.
