I have a Player City that's with 100m of the Lok imperial Base. With the new patch today? What has happened to our city? Has it been detroyed? Moved???? Only honest answers please.

I think you're probably the only one who can answer that. it's likely that, if your city hall has not been destroyed (which I doubt it has been), it's been grandfathered and is still standing. Even with that in mind, you'll have an enormous no-build zone cutting right through your city.

Looks like someone will be moving tonight. That sucks.

Why would this zone even be instituted in the first place. The Imperial base is neither a city nor a Theme Park. It is no different than a Player Base and should be treated as such.

My guess is that by building that close, your city, in essence gets free municipal structures like a cloning lab and whatever else is there that other cities would have to legitimately earned through population, politician training, and construction. I've only been there once so I'm not sure what else is there. I assume there are medical and cantina-like facilities as well. This no-build zone should have been in place all along really. My guess is that that rebel outpost on Rori is next on the hit-list.

We get nothing free... The Base's Cloning Facility was not part of our Outpost.... nor anything else... once again just little thought put into the action.... before ACTUALLY making a decision....

Yes you are - you said you base is within 100m of the Lok outpost - that means you are gettingextremely close access toa free cloning facility and insurance terminal, as well as a free Imperial recruiter and Imperial mission terminal- no other player cities can place anywhere close to 100m of such facilities - or even within 1k of of such facilities on other planets - if you want to just take advantage of being close to such a place, just don't bother with a city hall.

ok that is 200 less than the proposed zone

That's how many secs less running?????????? On a mount must be like 6 or 7 seconds huh?

And why is this a problem?????

because the devs say so is the simplest answer.

but in all honesty, the other poster is correct.. you are getting the benefits of that place (cloning/mission terminals) without having to earn it for your city. you can't tell me that you weren't thinking about that when you placed the city.

Technically you shouldn't place your city hall within less than 450m of the edge of the NBZ or else your city will suffer because of it.

It was a bug/mistake that it had no nobuild zone before. They gave it the standard dantooine outpost style no build zone now. The biggest gripe about it is this should have been done last week.

Egads. He placed a legitimate City Hall. Yes, he knew what he was getting.. HOWEVER, he followed the rules set at teh time. To change those rules means that Devs need to pick up his whole town and move it for him (or CSR). For all he knew this was planned by Devs.

Blaming someone for taking advantage of the existing rules is baloney.

What they should do is move the imperial outpost like they did on tattooine or make it a rebel outpost. Lets see what they would think then. He new that being so close might cause a problem adn rightfully the devs have said that they are instituting the 1000m policy.
