Thread: Anyone else have this problem with mounts and their cities?

Whenever a player rides into town on a mount, I am unable to /grantzoningrights for some period of time after they've dismounted. I get a message that the target is invalid. After a few minutes it usually fixes itself. The same also happens with /transferstructure, I get the message that the target must bea player. This always occurs after the player has been on a mount. Sometimes in 5 minutes it fixes itself, but last night a full reboot of the game was required to remedy this. Am I the only one experiencing this?

This happensevery timesomeone has been riding a mount. Usually it takes about 5 minutes before I can grant zoning rights or transfer a structure, but sometimes it's longer. Since our city is 4500m away from the nearest shuttleport with lots of big mountains between, almost everyone comes in on a mount.

p.s. - If you're wondering how we got a city on Tat that far away under the cap, it's because we were orginally a part of the Urban Blight in the Bestine-AH-WF area and moved a few days later. We took down the city hall and 15 seconds later had the new hall up so we wouldn't lose our spot under the cap.

Hmm. I don't know Arlan. I've not yet had problems with mounts and zoning rights. I'll test it later tonight when I get home.

I've not encountered this problem yet. How often does this happen to you?

Nope. Tried again last night and had no problems.
