Thread: Mob Spawns & Troop Pathing in Cities
Perhaps im completely mistaken here....but i was under the impression that mobs weren't supposed to spawn inside a city (and possibly within some small range outside the city).... I seem to remember peopleworrying about planets being void of life due to hundreds of cities stopping spawns.
We have a spawn of Nightspider Poison Spitters very close to our city hall -theres usually about 6-8 ish of them....it's pretty easy for most combat characters to kill them solo as their not very tough....but they keep spawning.
For any crafters, entertainers or low skilled Combat characters it can be quite a hassle and can result in deathand we can't always have someone around to deal with them.
This, combined with Plains Hunters and other creatures wandering around the city.....getting stuck on peoples houses and only moving when someone comes in range...... it all adds up to a dangerous city for Newer players and those who don't do much combat.
Is there any planned change to this? or is this how it's going to be from now on?
Another issue we have is the absolutely appalling Pathing of troops from Faction HQ's. The patrols that get sent out get stuck on:
Buildings, Trees, small flowers, blades of grass over 4cm high...... and they stay stuck unless you pull a mob over to them and force them to attack.
With faction bases allowed within Cities - I would think the devs might improve the Pathing of Troops so they can actually handle BEING in a city.
