Thread: City Hall changes Suggesstion
I believe that the City hall should not be so easily destroy.... (it is scary that it is)
I believe the devs should put in this feature.
- set city for destruction -
1. Need EVERY Citizen to vote on this issue (yes to destroy.. no to do not) once the citizen have unanimous vote... then the hall is destroy.
2. Mayor can cancel the destruction order before the last yes vote comes in
Why we need such a tool?
1. prevent destruction (accidental or intentional) of a city so easily.....
2. There is a city cap.. what if... just if someone destroy a city and start a new.. their chance to upgrade is slim (remember once the cap remove.. other will have outpost on standby and ready for upgrade or next in line)
3. People SHOULD work out their differences this is where politics comes in... it is like saying that the current mayor is a real city (say... Dallas) didn't like the situation and blew up the city hall.... I don't think so..
wow.. no comments? or even flames??
*wears her flame proof armor.woot!*
Rebuild somewhere more remote... leave the FEATURES alone.... It forces people to be cautious... and to design their cities properly... if you lose a city... move to a new one... or rebuild.... I feel no sympathy... sorry
how can you rebuilt when you can't upgrade?
being realistic.. the original city makers will hardly ever drop below level 2.. which mean if I rebuilt.. I'll be an outpost forever.. with never a chance to upgrade (unless the devs remove the city cap for level 2+)
that is the problem...
I have no problem rebuilting (if ever taken over) I just have problem not advancing....
Alternative is to join up with other cities (if it comes to that.. I'm not worry.. I'm sure someone will take me in hehe.. I hope)
I, for one, think that's a good idea. Destroying a city, intential or not, should not be an easy process. Of course it's also possible to destroy it by moving a bunch of people out (so there's less than 10 residents) or running the treasury dry (which won't be easy if there'a wealthy person or two that are willing to make large donations).
Though I don't know if unanimous needs to be the criteria for destruction. Maybe just start everybody with a "no" vote and require a 2/3 majority.
*kinda like the Self-Destruct on the Enterprise
Cptcox.
hmm.. kinda like a group.. but then it is no better than mayor going "self destruct" a large enough PA can do it..
That is why I think unanimous would be better.. that way the griefer and the griefee have to work it out... (not just take a fast solution and wipe out the hall... works both way.. can't tax the heck out of them and then destroy the hall either ![]()
