I had 23 structures in my outpost. I have 23 emails from day one when I laid the City Hall. Management Term confirmed this. So far so good.

I estimated gaining 17 more (40 total) when the city grew. The day it grew to village, I got 24 emails stating that a structure was in my city. They matched up with 24 houses in or near the new radius. That would make 47 structures, right? City Management Terminal says I have 37.

So basically, I have 47 emails about structures in the city, and only 37 on the terminal.

Anyone else seeing this?

actually that's is one explanation, but not really what the poster is asking...

Ok, day one you got emails for structures in the city and just outside the city,,, I did and checked so I can tell you this is the case.

Day 8 you gat emails for some of the original structures reported the week before... and also emails I'm sure for structures once again just outside the radius.

you can check this for yourself if you still have the emails... some will be for the same structure and owner...

I got rid of all my emails but remembered one case simply because she had two houses come up in my original balst but still had to declare in her secondary house because her actual home was in fact outside city limits... even though both she and I got emails stating otherwise... then day 8 I got another email for the house she couldn't declare in.

another bit of info to add to this is that if you have say 10 houses planted outiside your radius and they are owned by people who HAVE already declared residency and then the following week your radius grows and excompases them they will stillNOT be registered citizens even if they have declared, theyWILL become registered and you will get an email saying they are new citizens, (assuming they have declared) from the second they walk into their house after the radius has grown over them although you will have alredy gotten emails about the presence of structures in your new radius.

If it says a higher number of structures versus how many citizens then that means those extra people have not declared residence yet in the homes they own within city limits. Also that structure count can include factories and harvesters. If they are nothing but homes then just make sure everyone has declared residence.
