Ok, somebody plunked a city hall down in my backyard. No questions, no warning, taxes set to max.

I moved. 2 planets away. Old house gone.

Today I get taxed.

How do I resign from the player city? I looked at all the terminals in the city hall, there was no resign option.

How do I vote for no-one?

Is it possible for "involuntary" citizens to get rid of an outpost that is planted on them?

It may be because if you were a citizen once that week, you are included, you may not get taxed next week. In any case, contact a CSR and make sure.

are you sure you didn't inadvertently place the new residence inside yet another city?

I've noticed that a couple of people are still listed as citizenson the city terminal in my cityevetho they no longer have a residence there. One guy has been moved out for over a week and is a declared citizen of another city on a different planet. But other people who have moved a few days ago are not listed. I'm sure this is a bug. Place a ticket if you really want out of the city.

In order to leave a city you must ensure you declare residence in your new home from your house terminal.

I can give it another week and see if the tax clears up.
