This is from another post, but I think this is a really good post.

Thunderheart,

This is all good and dandy.. But our city has meet the requirements to get out of outpost and we meet it a couple of days ago. And our mayor has sent in a ticket but still we our an outpost. Which now we will have to wait 4 more days to even here from anyone (because they are all on hoildays). By the time they get back it will be voting time again and we will not be able to be one of the 1st to get promoted because of last weeks bug... SO the natives are getting restless. We understand that we want to make sure that the server is stable. I work in IT so I know how important that is, trust me. But you have to also understand we our your customer and if we had issues like this we would not be able to go home until our customers were taken care of. OUR mayor hasn't even heard a sorry we are unable to update you at this time. I think what really upsets people is the lack of follow up from the Customer Service Department. I understand it's a hoilday but again we our your customer. I am on call during this hoilday and for them to have a four day weekend and not even consider having a volunteer to get your tickets done is not very customer friendly. Their is a saying in the industry. FOAV Focus on added Value and at this point I feel we our not getting the added value from the customer service department.

Sorry for ranting but I am in the entertainment business, we are the ones who bring SWG to a lot of your and mine customers our there. And I know if we were not staffed on the hoildays we would have some pissed of customers. Which is not good customer service at all. I am just trying to call awareness to the customer service portion of this. That is why there is such a thing as volunteer overtime.
