Okay here is a list of several bugs i have made note of.

Mayor can not grant zoning rights to citizens.

Messages says you have to be the mayor to grant zoning rights,

You are clearly the only mayor running int he city and people have already voted for you.

I checked the vote terminal and sure enough i am mayor.

I checked the city terminal sure enough i am listed as mayor.

Loging out and back in does nto fix this. at some random interval it fixes itself.

I can still levy taxes, and modify zoning rights from the terminal but i can not grant premision for zoning rights.

anyone else running into this problem?

it is totally sporadic but can not be bypassed.

I can also not add militia when this is happening and militia can not grant zoning rights either.

I've found that the player target needs to be within city limits, have you tested this as well?

The errors are not very clear about what the error is, itis simplysaying, "You can't do that!"

Did you accidently try to declare residence at another structure? I did this and could not grant zoning rights (nor could the militia) until the next server reset..... Even though it gave me an error message saying I could not declare elsewhere as encumbant Mayor.

Make sure you're outside when granting zoning rights. Currently, /grantzoningrights does not work indoors. Hope that helps.

You have to be outside (i.e. not in a building), within the city limits, and have the person you are granting rights to targeted. If it is still not working, you might need to speak with a CSR.

1. within city limit

2. target player

3. outside of a building (any building)

all of the above criteria were tested..

test one: indoors in city hall.

test two: outdoors in front of city hall

test three: at proprsed site for new land development outdoors within city limits.

test four: Militia member tried granting rights to the same user outdoors.

/logout and repeat steps three and four.

Have to make sure you are few steps away from the hall.. (client bug I think)

you should be able to.. if all that fail.. then you would need to get a CSR into this.

if it does not work then i will submit a csr ticket.

i figure like all things it will work after the server reboot.

like my city update and me not getting any xp till after the reboot.
