So here we go. Our city set and growing. One guild, one PA. Our mayor is whom we want and our almost 70 members in our city all are happy. We decide to defend our city against encroachment from enemies who start surrounding our borders with small houses in an attempt to overwhelm our population. We put an armoire on the terminal to prevent them from access to our voting box. CSR Terry comes hither and says "I have removed this attempt to block voters from accessing your ballot box. This has been deemed to be an exploit and should not be repeated".

Ok..so we do this to prevent a grief takeover of something we've worked for months on. Now this...totally out-of-bounds response from a CSR. I'm beyond mad about this...

really... if your 70 plus members are all active, you should no problems overwhelming the few who try to join your city or take it over. your position is safe enough.. why even post?

SOE support exploiter, money and ressources dumpers - even they let ppl sell holocron and accounts on ebay. That is soooo lame-o-rama!

This is crappy too.. the zoning rights should apply to the max 500 radius even at outpost. Even tough you can only be acitizenwithinthe currentcity rank radius.

Right now ppl can enforce themselfes into your city by placing a house right outside the current radius and the next city rank they will become a citizen right?

yes and it is the mayors job to either get more votes from his citizens, get more citizens (votes)to combat this or GET THE HELL OUTTA DODGE

So you were using something obviously an exploit (Come on, if you can't tell that something so cheap as blocking people with an object is an exploit, you're pretty lame) and are upset you got called on it?

Actually, blocking the voting terminal may seem like an exploit, but it doesn'treally work...all you have to do is go into first person mode (just keep zooming in) and you should be able to access the voting terminal...so says the mighty politician correspondent that is Plinka

perhaps try to get militia in place and ban all those that try to enter the city that are not from your guild ?. that should get the point across.

This is playing the game. If you never want to lose control of a city, don't build one. Cities are not meant to be extensions of PAs or private little enclaves. I am annoyed they gave us zoning rights other than for commercial structures which was the initial design.

You have no right to a city, it is open and free for anyone to try and take over.

Declare the offending guild as enemied and do a clean sweap.
