Since alot of us would be mayors are sitting around twiddling our thumbs, I wonder if their are any backup plans for mayors to earn exp while waiting for cap lifting?

I really dont think its fair that you can tell a profession they have to wait a month before they can level, if this was done to any pre exisiting class , it would cause an uproar..Yes this is what politicians are asked to do.

It nots easy asking 50+citizens to have patience, especially when you built in a remote location that is 15 minutes from any sort of shuttle/spaceport and thats using speedburst and gallop bursts.

There is no way to earn exp in anothers town unless you set down a house yourself.

Is it also fair that the same players who have to wait weeks, months, to get a city, to now tell them a month later they have to wait another month before a town can update high enough?

I understand the evaluation period and you can tell that they said caps will be lifted in december (but not done away with) but who knows if it wouldnt be lifted just another small amount. Its bad enough getting a late start, but its worse not being able to earn any abilities during this wait.

two other politicians living in my city got xp for doing nothing... they didn't even register to run against me... We got 30 votes for me... I got 2900xp, another got 1100xp and the third got 500xp

So it seems not just the mayor and those choosing to run against him get xp.

Now my questions is, can the other politicians use the xp they gained to help the city.... we can place decorations in the city, by I, the mator, didn't learn that skill. Can the one with the 1100xp learn the skill and then add the decoration if I grant him zoning rights?

Would be nice if we got like 50 extra exp for players joining in an existing city radious. Course would have to be exploit proffed by preventing citizens from continusally moving in and out all day on a macro=P

In smae boat... but SWG requires patience.... what 99% of the players don't have.... having cities with shuttles overnight is absolutely ridiculous.... 1 month is 0 time....

Well I didnt want to plop down my mayor in a city that I didnt wish to join, and besides right now I really hate to move my mayor anywhere outside our hopeful city as I know the minute I shift him, they patch in an update that gives a few more halls and I am stuck away from area.

Altho with work this prolly will happen anyways, but just hoping can be home in time. And I think I have patience waiting for them to lift the cap, but its a wasted skill that is doing nothing. Cides who said they were going to lift the cap to allow all to build, they just said they may raise it some.
