I've been looking for the answers here to save asking an old question but I don't see them. I apologize if this is redundant research.
A mayor must grant zonging rights to another player to allow him or her to place a structure in within the area of influence of that city, yes?
Q: Are preexsiting structures that have already been build in the initial 300 m circle "grandfathered" into the city?
There is a restriction on how often a player can change residences, something like once a week I believe.
Q: Will new citizens immediatly count towards a city's total population and be able to vote for mayor?
Any help here would be hot. ![]()

What's the one week rule? You may delcare your residence only once per week? Or it takes a week for a new declaration to take effect?

Your residency takes effect immediately.
Presumably you cannot change residences for the week following that.

For those who didn't know, we've found out that this is now a 24 hour rule. You can declare a new residence after 24 hours have passed since you last declared a residence.
