• While inside the City Hall (or any other house owned by you) you can use :


• /setperm admin this will open the administrator list of the City Hall (WARNING: The administrator list resets every server start, so the person you give premisions to will lose it when server set, although you can add them back everyday....)


• /name this will open the name change for your City Hall (not the city, just the hall)


• /structure this will open the "Structure Status" window


• /setprivacy this will change the privacy


• Now i haven't tried the ban list, but i'm sure it's something like /setperm ban or /ban


• When you want to organize housing, and you want to place the players housing your self, just ask him/her to redeed and give you the deed to place it. Then after you have placed it go inside the house, select the person and use /transferstructure to transfer the house to the person (WARNING: There is a bug where after this is done they have to relog in order to be allowed in the house, to avoid this either set the structure public or add the person in the admin list before transfering structure. )BTW after the structure is transfered you will be out of the admin list.


• To color a house name use HEX code. Here are some basic examples to set names.... Blue name would be "\#0000ff This is blue!" a red name would be "\#ff0000 This is red!" a green would be \#00ff00 This is green!"


• Hex code is a organized this way.... 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,A,B,C,D,E,F (in that order with 0 being the lowest value, and F being the highest.


• The Hex code is like this \#RRGGBB(R=Value of red, G=Value of green, B=Value of blue) replace the RRGGBB with proper values. (Example of black is \#000000 while white is \#FFFFFF)


• The Hex code can be used in the name of a house, also the name of a person (no longer works with craftable items)


• When sending E-mails use "citizens" in the Email window, this will send an email to all of the citizens in your city. You can also use "guild" if the Guild Master has given you premissions to use it.


• /cityban Bans a person from using the CIVIC structures in the city (Like the cloning center, DOESN"T WORK FOR CITY HALL)


• /citywarn The target has 30 seconds to get out of the city, or else he will be attackable by the militia. Even if this person is /citypardon ed they will still be red until the TEF is gone.


• /citypardonUndos /cityban


• /note This opens up the SWG notepad, i find it very usefull, this is saved as a .txt file in your SWG directore (under profiles)


• You can use copy and paste!!! All you need to do is go to Options, Controls, Keymap, Then click in the Chat tab, bind keys to Chat Copy, Chat Paste, Chat Cut. You can even use this to copy emails from SWG and copy it to windows clipboard, you can also copy this textby using Ctrl-C, and paste it in SWG!!! (So it works both ways)

BTW here is another warning : using /setprivacy is considered expoiliting because everyone is suppose to be able to enter the city hall (so no /setperm ban or /ban either!) I've just added that to use in your private homes (as a short cut from using the Structure Terminal) BE GOOD POLITICIANS ALLOW ANYONE TO ENTER YOUR CITYHALL!

is there anyway to send a citizen msg to all citizens and or entire guild without adding them to your friend list..have over 120 in our guild and 50 citizens so far and just curius if way to send emial or msg to all at once been adding them to friends list and sending to all but heard there was a easyier way

Every single one of those commands listed as pertaining to structures shouldn't be used and are going away. Using them could lead to unforseen consequence including the rendering of your city hall as useless or destroyed.

But it is a great list for macros on harvesters like the admin one, I have been trying to figure that out forever.

err thanks Plinka, i didn't realize the other commands were not "Good" either. But to everyone else, you can still use those as shortcuts in your PRIVATE housing. Plz do not use the structure commands in the City Hall, as plinka said they weren't intended.

so we cant rename our city hall like Pompeii City Hall i dont want to risk anything that could lose our city..are there any offical commands for city hall that we can use..that are intended..like mainly is there anyway to make somoen admin so they can decorate for me or is that considered a exploit

Use "citizens" or "guild" in your To: box.You can use them both, but if you do people who are both in your guild and in your city will get 2 emails Warning: In order to use "guild" you need special permission from the guild master.

• If you would only like your guild mates to enter your house, Set your privacy to Private, then in the entry list write "guild:xxx" so for example my guild would be "guild:aow" then only people who are in AoW can enter my private house. (you can also ban guilds this way)

is it just the permission that let u invite peole or is there special one si need set..and can only the guild owner give permisson to others to invite to guild..our guild master set me up to invite but wanted me so i can set permisison for others to invite but i cant..know its off topic but last quistion on guilds

What?? That's totally insane! Why can't you name the City Hall something or make someone an admin on it? That makes no sense! Let's remember, it's also the Mayor's house.

OaDenn : Yes, it's something like "Guild Mailing" or something, since i'm not a guildmaster i wouldn't know the exact name, but i'm sure your guild leader can help you out. (It's not the abilty to invite people btw)

I agree on not being able to set privacy or banning. But adding someone as an admin helps a lot! And who would ever have a problem with setting a name? Don't get it.
