Must one be a residence of a city to be part of the militia, or are there possible mercenary defenders.

I'm wondering if I would be able to help (get paid money of course :smileywink different cities, if they were in need.

Yes, I am pretty sure you need to be a resident to be a militiaman, but I have never confirmed it.

Well darn it, there goes that attempt at some sort of mercenary work since SOE refuses to implement more factions.
