Thread: Tyranny
I thought the Q&A posted by teh coraspondant said that a /banned player can still enter the city hall to vote. If you could not then i would report it is a bug. Although i think citizens should not be abel to be /banned so long as theya re paying taxes ![]()
But at lest you should have repesentation.
No taxation without repensetation..lol
Aye. He's being a jerk and deserves to be stuck at rank 2 forever.
You are supposed to always be able to vote. Do /bug that.
Those of your looking for a little oppression do not need to look to the Empire. Rebels are doing it just fine.
I wanted to join a city with a friend who is working on politician. We found a city West of Coronet on Bloodfin that allowed free placement. So we placed our houses and he, Chavabegga, ran for mayor like the game was designed for. Shortly there after we get an email from the mayor, MrPlow saying we had 24hrs to change our vote. Not taking kindly to threats we refused. Now we are locked out of the city hall and have had out property taxes raised to 50%. Everyone will get a rebate except for us simply because we want to play the game the way it was designed and run for office and vote. Now we can not even get into the city hall.
MrPlow is a tyrannical dictator!! Oppression, strong arm tactics and griefing is not the way cities were suppose to be handled!! I demand justice!! What can I do but vote against the evil mayor? Wait that was why I being persecuted and I can not even get into the city hall to do it again.
Since you posted this on the Bloodfin board, my server as well,I'd like to offer you my condolences and as soon as I get my city started invite you guys over to it. It is also on Corellia only it isn't right outside of the NPC cities, like so many cities I have seen. Your friend would be more then welcome to compete with me for the mayorial title. Hopefully we will both get enough xp to be able to drop things the first week. Like mission terminals. Don't worry about these jackasses their city will eventually fall because they won't get enough members to up their rank and become a true city. All they will be able to do is have parks, mission terminals, and control over their sphere of influence.
Honestly I"m glad that people like this got the hall down first instead of honest good cities, this will open up the cap sooner then the next publish and noone will miss them.
Thank you Kurrin.

You have renewed my faith that there are decent people out there. My in game name is Maarkean and if it is okay I have a PA of 5 people. The United Defense Force. We just wanted to be part of a city since we are not big enough to even thingk about form one ourselves.
Well that is fine, but it might make things a bit more difficult ![]()
The city is going to be up on a plateau about 5 kilometers from all the other cities. A newly formed friend of mine also has a PA up on top of the hill, and a friend of his is coming over with a PA hall as well so...well it will be interestng to see how it all will fit.
I honestly feel that having a city means you are rank 3 as a minimum and a single PA normally can't meet that requirement. True there are some of the massive ones but those are true guilds and not just an expanding group of friends. So how do you do that? Not by being an **edit** to possible citizens. Send me a mail in game or I"ll try and contact you to give out the wp to our future spot. I just can't wait for them to hotfix the caps so we can at least have an outpost.
