It seems to me that my treasury is growing daily, this doesn't seem possibly since my current tax scheme is 0% across the board and 2000 credit income tax. I am supposed to get 2000 credits per citizen that would be roughly 22k, well my treasury is at 98k now with a 50k initial deposit from me, someone please help or verify that taxes are borked.

Are you getting people donating at the City Hall terminal? We have a few million in the treasury currently becuase of benefactors

I didn't know people could donate but I am pretty sure the answer is no.

Taxes are only collected once a week, so even if you had set any taxes, they wouldn't have been collected yet. There's no notification when your treasury receives a donation, so that's probably the case.

I put in 50k in when it was created, we have 11 citizens and 2k income tax that is taxed first time they log in after becoming a citizen. That is 72k, and treasury has 24k more than that, need to figure out where it came from donations should give email.

I'm having the same problem. I have my taxes set at 1 credit citizen tax, 1% property and 1% sales - the treasury is showing a gain of 50k. There have been some sales made, but not enough to make that much. We really do need an email notification for when people deposit money in the treasury - its going to be real tough to get a handle on how to adjust taxes otherwise.

Those are definitly donations ... you don't get email for donations
