Can a mayor resign ?

Our mayor decided to leave us after another citizen decided to run against him. Before he left, he changed our city name to something pretty crappy for personal amusement and has moved. However he is still mayor andsays he can't transfer his rights to any one else. He has moved to another city onanother planet even, but is still listed as a citizen.

What can we do ?

Anyone ?

You have to vote him out.

He then loses his pwoers and the new mayor takes over.

So we have to deal with this name he gave us for a week until the voting is over ? We cant even place new houses or anything..he left us high and dry... arg !He should have automatically lost his title when he moved

Well, he may have placed a house in another city, but he can't clain residency there until his 1 week term as mayor is up. Sorry, but you'll have to deal with the crappy name until the citizens vote him out.
