I was a part of a city that was for clan only. They were voting me out so I took the liberty of taking myself out.Today I go on and find that I have a email basicly giving me warning that if I dont move my house and leave the city then I will be banned. They claimed that when I get banned I wont be able to enter my house or anyone elses house aswell as the player city structures. I find it awfully bad that I have to pick up all my items and pack up just because they dont want me there. They are also claiming that I harrased them and sent several complaints that I wouldn't move and that I threatened them. Anyone plz let me know if any of the stuff is possible.

Not yet. Until someone gets Martial I, you can't /cityban. After that, well....

Not possible. The option of you placing a house in a city is just like placing a house anywhere. Mayor's cant remove you. However, they can find other ways to make you leave such as making heavy taxes and reimbursing everyone but you....when they gain a millita, the milita can always kill you if you are warned. But no, they cant prevent you from entering houses or remove your house. They can only ban you from entering the city structures like hospital, cantina, etc.

Not completely true . . . of course, if it is a PA city, then the individuals can ban you from their homes; that's no different from how houses were at any other time. But they cannot ban you from your own home, and you can still vote.

Sadly, there's an exploit right now that does allow the mayor to prevent people from entering city hall to vote. (Grr.)

A note about warnings: they only last a short amount of time, and have to be given in person, so if you move quietly, you can still get around.

I am rather disappointed at how much of this "You aren't one of us, get the hell out" sorts of attitude is going on. My city has zoning rights turned on--but only so that we don't become a shapeless lump of buildings--I'm not going to exclude anyone reasonable who wants to join.

It is not an exploit, it is /setpermission.

There SHOULD be a way to add admins, not bans, but since the devs decided to leave an admin list out, people figured to use /setpermission admin, and in turn figured they can add people to the ban list (all lists reset on server resets). They should just disable the ability to ban people, and put admin on the structure management terminal.

Some would argue that this is in fact exploiting a bug. The fact that the permissions tab doesn't show up on the building management terminal kind of suggests that you weren't intended to be able to set permissions on city hall. The bug is that whoever made this change overlooked the fact that /setPerm still works, even if the command isn't in the structure panel.
